These plates give your prints an awesome look on the bottom of the prints! You can get all kinds of different effects using these plates. They install in seconds (after attaching the magnetic base) and make getting your prints off super easy. In combination with making sure your bed is clean and a CR Touch, this is incredibly easy to use and get great adhesion. Great value for the price. Time will tell how durable they are.

I got these plates in and since I was in the process of upgrading some other components, I figured I would grab one of my new plates and test it as well. I went for the coolest looking one, or at least the flashiest one. It's hard to beat carbon fiber, but the PEO was flashy.I attached the handles, but on my printer, which is not an Ender 3 or K1 of any kind, it didn't allow the plate to quite sit flush at the front, so I took them off. No biggie as long as you remember to let the plate cool before grabbing your print, which any seasoned 3D printing enthusiast already knows to do.I fired up a PETG print without levelling, cleaning, glue, or doing anything really. Just straight to the wolves, worst case scenario for a build plate. It printed and more importantly (kind of anyway, both are obviously important): released from the plate with zero issues. If you've printed with PETG, especially on a smooth surface, you know that's sometimes not the case. Super impressive. The second picture doesn't really show much of the plate, but it does show how the color shifts depending on your viewing angle, and it reminded me of the briefcase in Pulp Fiction which I though was cool, lol.

Of the three patterns carbon fiber and triangles are my favorite. The hologram really needs the right light angle to see it. Setting the first layer pattern also helps blend in the extrusion lines like for the carbon fiber. The hologram pattern also did not like my PETG even when slowed down. I have another star hologram pattern also "PEY" that doesn't like PETG either. With PLA it prints fine.Powder coated texture side they're all evenly coated. No runny build up at the "bottom" when the PEI coating was sprayed on.The included tab handles are a nice bonus. These are injected molded and not just 3D printed either.Included in the review are pictures of some quick print test in both PETG (sorry for the goopy stringing) and PLA on these plates.

My preferred standard plate is PEI, but I do like a nice pattern when I have a print with a large surface area that will be seen. I have several plates that are pattern stickers on both sides, and have had issues with the 'bottom' pattern transferring to the magnetic sheet on the print platform. I don't know if this shortens the sticker life, but it seems likely. For that reason, I was really happy to see that this pack has PEI on one side so that the pattern can always be against the print's surface. Then, when the pattern sticker wears out, I still have a good PEI sheet to use. It's a small thing, I know, but in a process that can have a lot of waste it's nice to make things last as long as possible. The plastic tab covers are another nice touch, and the fact that they are screw attached means I can reuse them for something else (or another sheet) when these wear out.Overall I think it's a nice bundle and a good value for three plates that should last a long time.

ChowThink 3 pack of double sided spring steel build plates that fit the creality -K1/K1c/ etc AND Ender 5/5s1/3 series. Basically anything 235x235 bed size. You get1x Carbon fiber imprint side1x star things1x Ziggle zaggle pattern2x hex wrenches for attaching plate handles (nice, 1 extra is nice)2x 6 pack screws for 12 screws for the plates.Nice patterns that will imprint onto filaments.PLA prints nicely, PETG sticks hard and may damage the plate if you remove it hot! let it cool down.PC prints okay, PET-CF sticks hard. PA6-CF sticks well. So far good plates.usually these plates are about $9 each as of 10/6/2024 (mm/dd/yyyy)but you get the finger protector thingies that help with grabbing the plate while its hot so you can continue another print asapwould be nice if it came with a magnetic bed replacement. those are always handy. but the value is there.REMEMBER! these are easily damaged, do not use metal scrapers or if you do, be careful.

All of these materials work really well as build surfaces. They can be used with or without an adhesion promotor, but if you use them without you will require having your Z-Offset perfect. I personally get my Z-Offset dialed in without an adhesion promoter, but always use one when actually printing jobs. It just a quick, easy way to greatly increase the probability of your prints finishing with no bead adhesion related issues. As I said I love these build plates. The patterns show up well and add a bit of flair to your prints. Plus you can't beat double sided and multiple patterns. Customers love options

so been using these a bit, and here is what I have found, normally I have my bed temp set to 58c and it works for my other beds, for these plates I need 63c for the pei side, the other sides have been trouble, I dont know if its the filaments or just the stickers but the pet, peo and pey have been having trouble with the print sticking, most of my filament has a max bed temp of 65c higher then that and I get a foot on the print, part of this is I mainly print in PLA but have used PETG on these and have had the same problem, its a nice effect, and the kit still comes with 3 bed plates with PEI stickers so even if I cant get the other side to print most of the time, still pretty good over allprinter used for this is a modded Ender 3 V2 neo using a sprite extruder and a ceramic V6 hotend
