I have experimented with multiple prints using this plate, both with and without the addition of glue. The prints tend to adhere well for approximately 2-5 layers before detaching. Additionally, an error message appears each time a print is initiated, as the system fails to recognize it as an authentic Bambu Labs build plate. If you do not pause to click “OK” and resume your print, the printing process will not commence. To avoid these complications, I recommend purchasing the appropriate plates directly from Bambu Labs.

I was originally intrigued by these plates because I have never seen a plate with a hexagonal pattern. The “carbon fiber” pattern was just a bonus, though in person I found it quite attractive on a print. I had no problems with adhesion setting it as a “Textured PEI Plate” on Bambu Studio and printing PLA on normal settings. The pattern it left was glossier than I was expecting based on the look of it on the plate, but that wasn’t a problem and was quite novel.Unfortunately, there were some issues with the plate arriving scratched, particularly the carbon fiber side. At first, I tried printing on it, hoping that perhaps the scuff wouldn’t transfer, but it did. I contacted the manufacturer, and they had great customer service and were willing to send me a new plate. Unfortunately, the replacement had the same issue, and again it was on the carbon fiber side. The hex patterned side is near perfect, and it was my priority anyway, so I am not too bothered. But it is something worth noting if you plan to print objects that take up most of the plate and are not able to strategically place items to avoid the damage.Overall, the build plate is sturdy, and the hex pattern looks cool, it’s just a shame I can’t personally seem to get an entirely immaculate side of carbon fiber pattern. If you’re in it for the hex pattern then it’s worth it if you’re bored of all the normal build plate designs, but if you want the carbon fiber look then I’d have to say to pass on this unless you tend to print fairly small.

Don’t get me wrong it looks nice and has the Bambu labs printer plate recognition but NOTHING WILL ADHERE TO IT, looks great but will not work what so ever!

i had some issues with this plate sadly, it was really cool and i wanted to like it but the raised texture caused the nozzle to hit the build sheet in some areas, even though it was just a small graze it scratched the sheet to pieces...so i haven't really been able to use this for any prints as its dangerous, even after a bunch of calibration runs it just grinds the bed, not sure what to do

Always preferred this style for my printers, makes adhesion a breeze. Easy as open and place on your printer than your done. Like this quality you receive I’ve done 100 prints on this and haven’t run into adhesion issues yet. Overall 100% worth the price they are asking.

Until I used this, I had only tried the textured PEI bed that came with my P1S. I wanted something smoother for some prints, and I thought that the designs on this one may be nice.It took a bit of trial and error to get good adhesion, but I found that going 10°C higher on bed temps and slowing down the initial layer speed made everything stick - along with regular wipe downs with IPA.I still don’t used this plate for everything, but when I’m looking for a fancier finish on the models, I’ll use this plate.

Tried many different fillements and heats ,with and without glue to no avail. Wasted my money with this one. No matter what I tried I could not get the material to stick to the plate . the plate seems to be built very well , its just like it has non stick coating on it
