The 3-IN-ONE brand has been trusted for a very long time in the U.S. for good reason. This oil/penetrant does a great job removing rusted and frozen-on bolts. It's specialized for this purpose, although in a pinch, their regular 3-IN-ONE general purpose oil does a good job too.

Recently used it on a seized door latch on a stoker coal stove. The latch wouldn’t move at all and turning it with a wrench it would start to give a bit like the bolt was about to snap. Put some of this on the bolt, let it sit a few minutes and started working the latch back and forth and it started to move. Added some more and kept working and it freed and started to turn. Very impressed since it worked quickly and was noticeable since I had just done the same thing without the oil to no effect. The latch is a threaded bolt that is in a very corrosive environment so I feel I really tested this stuff. It is a very thin oil, almost water like in consistency. Has very little odor. I like the drip bottle vs an aerosol spray where you overuse it and most runs on the floor. Will buy again.

I applied this as a penetrant to try and reclaim recycled fuel injectors with pimtles that were stuck shut. As opposed to a spray type oil, this oil, at an application of 3 drops, and 48 hours of penetrating time unfroze approx 50% more injectors per batch. Paid for itself on the 2nd reclaimed injector. Surely worth the investment.

I ost my nephew when he was 18. His No had been given up for adoption so I didn’t meet him until he was 8. He asked to see my knife and I told him I didn’t have one so he gave me one of his and insisted I keep it. After his death I put it in a shadow box and never took it out. Now I’m passing on to my nephew and needed to clean a little rust off of it and this with 0000 steel wool cleaned it perfectly, so happy it worked so I could pass it on to him

I wanted a solution to free frozen fasteners that was not areosol, because it will stay in my van. This stuff has alawys worked for me in the past, and I fully expect it will continue to perform as it historically done.

After applying to area, it took about 10 minutes to work, but it worked. I was finally able to unscrew a plastic bolt that I had almost given up on.

It's a great product as I use it frequently but my issue , as others have stated is I also ordered 3 in 1 multi purpose oil and 3 in 1 motor oil in the same shipment and they were intact. this one not so much. They each came in individually wrapped bags but this one was torn and the cap was only half tight , allowing about 1/4 of the bottle to leak out. The inside and outside of the Amazon box was saturated with oil but the box was not crushed or damaged in any way. This seems like a quality control issue to me as the other 2 products tops are locked in place with a strap of plastic forcing you to actually cut it off to loosen the cap , whereas the penetrating oil is not. You just need to unscrew the top a little to allow it to be used. All in all it is a great product but not so great dispenser top meant for shipping
