I bought this specifically to oil a German clock that suddenly stopped. All it took was the smallest possible dab on the end of a toothpick. I applied it to the escapement mechanism and the clock is running again and will no doubt be good for nearly two weeks before it again needs winding. In oiling, less is more, if you know what I mean. This is great oil!

This oil seems to do the job and the long nozzle made it easy to place oil in hard to reach places.

This is the best all around 'fine' lubricant available (in my most humble opinion'. I have used Liberty to re-start a very rare clock that hadn't run for decades. I had almost given up trying to get the clock to run and was about to turn it over to a clock repair shop but I saw this, decided to give it a try. It worked! I put a dab of oil inside everywhere there was an axle, gear etc and kept manually turning the insides to loosen everything up slowly. I did this 3-4 times a day for a week. Plugged in the clock and it ran 'Like a Clock'!. I also use this for our squeeky door hinges including kitchen cabinet hinges. This oil is truly amazing! I would suggest transferring some into a small bottle with a needle style extended dropper, it doesn't take much of this oil to do its job.

Needed some oil for my grandfather clock. It had stopped running. It had run for ten years and never been oiled so I thought I would give this a try. I was satisfied with the oil. It did seem to run down the sides a little more than I had hoped for but other than that it seems like good oil. Will see how it works out.
