This pedometer really does work as it says in the description. The 10-step error prevention feature truly works, I put it to the test several times. I wore the pedometer around my neck on the lanyard and drove to my hiking destination. The road I travelled on was pretty bumpy and once I arrived there were no added steps. I'm quite impressed with this counter.

This is perfect! Small, accurate, easy to set up, simple to understand, no attaching to any other device, and it works! Only one button (reset) and battery lasts up to a year.

I've purchased several cheap pedometers over the years and usually lose them off my belt. I bought this one and it's worth the price, as it works with one button and no special programming. I also ordered the ankle wrap to hold this pedometer, and wear both to walk my dogs and for Zumba class and treadmill at the gym. It's easy to gain 10,000 steps when you have an accurate step counter like this one. The larger screen is a bonus for reading your step numbers while wearing the strap.

This pedometer is ready-to-use right out of the package! No setting step lengths. Just remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment and start walking! I usually just clip the pedometer to my pant pocket or the waistline, but the lanyard is also handy. The clip is of really good quality. Be aware that you may have to take 10 or more steps to “wake up” the display, but the steps are still being counted. The display is large enough to be read easily. I would totally recommend this item for anyone who just wants an accurate step counter.

I bought this to encourage myself to walk more. It definitely keeps me accountable to myself. Once in awhile though, the count goes wonky and my steps jump by way too high. For the price and simplicity of use though, I'd recommend it.

Review update: This was a great little tool for a few months, then it became less and less accurate. The whole point of a step counter is to motivate one to take more steps. It's not very motivating to walk until you're sore and still see a disappointingly low number. Too late to return it ... Really disappointing. All I wanted was a simple tool to count my steps. ALL my steps, including walking in place while I'm waiting for a horse trough to fill or washing dishes, walking fast or slow, taking short or long strides. That is exactly what the FitBud does.As far as I can tell it's accurate; at any rate, it's consistent. It may count the occasional extra step when I'm driving, especially a manual; and it didn't count well when attached to my bra strap (what can I say? I have big boobs that cushion the impact of my steps!) But it clips securely to a belt loop and never falls off, and it doesn't look weird or get in the way.I'm really very happy with this affordable, useful tool that's already helping me to challenge myself to go a little further every day.

Received product on time. Fits the description. The step counter is sturdy but the belt clip feels a little flimsy, a lanyard is provided with it. Simple and easy to use

I've spend gobs of money on Fitbits with features I didn't need. Lots of money. Then I found this simple fellow and haven't looked back. It clips to your waist band and counts steps. Thank you (that's all I need)! You reset it with a simple push button each morning; if you forget to reset, it's not the end of the world (can you handle two days worth of steps). I've never even had to replace its battery after two years of daily use. The cute colors are bonus. Highly recommend if you're fed up with "features" like I was.

I recently purchased the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter, and it has been a great addition to my daily routine. The pedometer is incredibly easy to use—just pull out the tab to activate it, clip it on, and start walking. There's no need for any setup or connections to smartphones, which makes it perfect for those who prefer a straightforward device. The 3D Tri-Axis Sensor Technology ensures accurate step counting regardless of how you wear it. The large display is easy to read, and the included clip and lanyard offer multiple wearing options. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 12 months with an auto-sleep function to preserve power.Overall, this pedometer is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to track their steps without any hassle. It's simple, reliable, and highly effective. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I are on month 4 and getting more steps in each day thanks to our lil Bud. We were, basically, DOD when we started, just getting a modicum of steps although we do a lot that don't count as steps so we weren't really DOD. But our son got one to keep him honest every day and when we saw how easy it is to deal with we each got one. So happy we did. We began at perhaps 2,500 steps a day and now with no seeming extra energy, are up to in the 6,000s- 8,000s. Any time we're discussing doing something we light up, "more steps!", and get it done. Tony Robbins "power of now" helps a lot, too. It is motivating to have this little guy to help keep us measured and honest. No irritating extras to deal with- the FitBud is a pedometer, period. And it is the most helpful thing we own. You push the button, and it's ready to go for your walks with you. The steps don't register until you've hit 10 and then it begins to track them, starting at 11. When we're done at night we write down our steps and turn them off for the night. In the morning they go on again. I don't understand how people could break them or lose parts. The whole thing is tight and sturdy and well made. There is nothing about them I would change, but it's changed our lives, for the better. We feel great, have more energy, and our clothes are getting looser, and all for an inexpensive little object that just sits around in it's quiet way just being honest. What a steal! When it's too cold or slippery to walk outside we walk inside the house and up and down the stairs. Anything that gets us steps. We also have a ReboundAir and a Cellerciser , small, well-made trampolines, that give us tons of indoor, and safe, steps during this slippery winter weather. You get a lot of steps per session on a trampoline, it's fun to bounce, and it's better for your health than regular walking because bouncing helps every cell of your body become stronger, and forces the lymph through your system. Lymph only moves when you do and it's the system that helps remove useless debris and cleans your internal self. The combo is astounding. If you plan to get yourself something worth the money this Christmas I highly recommend the FitBud and a small trampoline of high quality. Your spring self will thank you and jump at the chance to get out and get a bunch of steps outside again! Update, well I did break mine but only because I was holding it in my hand in the dark and pulled the cord and flung it hard against a hard floor. It cracked the glass. I just bought another one. I'm on year 3 I think Oct. 2024) and still love this gadget and put it on every day when I get out of bed. It's a good friend that keeps you walking.
