I have found this pedometer perfect for my needs. However, the accuracy of the step and distant count is not spot on. It is not a suitable for anyojne who is looking for an extremely accurate fitness tracker. It is easy to set up and read the display. I wore it on the waiste band of my pants and tucked the lanyard into a pocket, so that if it accidently came dislodged it would not get lost. The clasping/gripping mechanism has held firmly on various thicknesses of clothing. Its small relatively small size makes it easy to conceal. The battery life is good and I like that I don't have to recharge constantly. It has several different mode setting i.e. calories burned, step count, miles walked, and a memory that allows you to find daily, weekly or monthly accumulation of steps or distance. The constructions appears to be very durable and for me it was a good value for the money and fit my needs as a step and distance tracker. I would recommend this product.

It works well, but I gave it three stars only because it was so difficult to set up. Has technology passed me by? Maybe, maybe not. You only have 10 secones to move to the next option in the set up process. Not enough time if you have to read the instructions for the next step. If you don't get to the next selection in time, it shuts you down and you have to start the priocess again- from the beginning. I finally went to the website and followed the set up video. It still took me a number of attempts to get it programed, and one option didn't give me enough time to enter info. All Told, it took me half hour to complete the set up. One "option" has incorrect info, but afer half an hour, I was not going to try and start the process all over again to correct it. The packaging says it has a "large display screen". True, to a point. The readout of actual statistics is fine, but the display showing category headings (steps, distance, time, etc) was so small I had to use a magnifying glass to see it. If I ever have to get another one, I'll go for a better, more expensive one.

Works good. Easy to set up and use BUT don't be afraid to look at YouTube for very easy step by step set up. Makes the whole process very clear and easy. You will need to spend time on figuring out your stride and tweak it a bit. Great product.

I loved my Fitbit Zip. It was small and you could clip it on, put it in your pocket, or hang it on a lanyard. Fitbit no longer offers or supports it, so I found this. I love that the battery is replaceable and you don't have to charge it. I can see up to 30 days in the past too. It's accurate against my friend's Apple watch. The clip is sturdy, and it comes with a lanyard. Easy to set up. I don't like the wristwatch style because it gives you false steps from arm motions.

Item arrived quickly. Instructions for set up were clear and easy, if you do get problems just go to tube and there is a video. Does exactly what it says it does. Lightweight, easy to use.

I have been using this pedometer for 8 days. I found the setup straightforward after reading the instruction manual pages on setup. Setting the clock time to the nearest second seems a bit clunky, because it goes to zero rather than allowing increase or decrease from its current value. But it is okay once you get the hang of it and simply wait to zero it when the master timer you use to set rolls over to zero. The other 11 quantities you set are straight forward since you can use the + and - keys to set exactly. My initial reaction after trying it out for a day was negative. I thought the reviews I read about undercounting and inaccuracy might be true. But after reading the statement on page 1 of the manual about the "10-Step Error Prevention Feature" and experimentally testing it, I concluded the device works as designed. I counted steps 100 or 150 at a time and Realalt was always within a step or two of my count. My previous pedometers, were an Omron HJ-113 (I lost it) and a FitBit Zip (it started eating batteries). The Omron and FitBit Zip both counted more steps than the Realalt, but I now like the idea of not counting when I get up and sit down or take 5 steps.I like the memory function that stores steps for 30 days. There are a lot of functions such as the step target Progress bar and estimates derived from step counts that I have not paid much attention too. I purchased the unit for accurate step counts and the step storage function. The unit seems reasonably rugged which I tested accidentally by dropping a few times while figuring out how to best wear the device. I have hopes that the battery lasts a significant fraction of the claimed 12 months.

This pedometer is very accurate when clipped on. I found it was overcounting when kept in my pocket. The best feature though is that it does not need to be charged. I have had if for a month now and have done over 350,000 steps. It’s very motivating !

I have been using fitness trackers since 2012. I have had 2 1/2 trackers before the 3DTriSport. The first two were the same: Fit***, the first model out. I lost the first and then the second. The clip holder did not hold the device securely, or the two that I had, did not, and failed. They were accurate. The second was a Yam** E510 which just stopped working two weeks ago. It did not have a holder, and came with a very short lanyard, which I could not figure out its use. I did not have any problems programming either of these.I purchased the 3DTriSport based upon reviews, discounting those which had a programming problem. Right after I ordered I received an email from a customer support rep, giving me instructions, a training video and a telephone number to call if I had problems. The item arrived and the blister pack opened easily.Included was a clip holder and a two part lanyard, and instructions (I must have three sets right now.Programming was easy. The only mistake I made was in pulling out the plastic battery protector which started the clock. Thus was easy to correct. The clip holder seems robust and I have clipped it to my t-shirt collar, sock, pocket while exercising at my gym and it stayed put. I have placed the small part of the lanyard on the tracker and sometimes connect it to the longer portion and wear it around my neck while on a treadmill. That way it is easier to compare the distances on each. Now, the most important part: accuracy.I have tracked distance on a treadmill and the 3DTriSport about 7 times. It has never deviated by more than 0.02 miles. This is accurate enough for my needs. I have also tracked distance from my house to my gym and compared to Google Maps to the TriSport and again, never more than 0.02 miles difference.I also found that it tracks walking on stairs as well. This in accurate, well made, and quite a value for its price.
