The foot plate that comes with this is too small to fit on the pipe. I needed to get samples done so I decided to not send it back and use the probe anyhow. The ground was hard so I had to twist the probe as I pushed it in the the ground; by the 4th hole the joint stripped the threads and it wouldn't stay together. The hole in the side of the tube was so sharp it sliced my thumb open, on the first plug, as I tried getting the sample out.

Threads where it screws together are not long enough or tight enough to stay together when sampling. I made three good samples then it was a struggle after that. Trying to return it
