This is a set of gate hinges that are large and sturdy. They include both short and long Phillips head screws for assembly. They are all powder coated black.They are good value for the money with the heavy metal. They had that stylish new black metal look. And they are very functional as a gate hinge. You just need to make sure all your corners are squared off well and you should be good to go.I got these for a lifting bed though. So I'm going to have a small part and then the rest of it will be able to hinge up. It will be carrying a large sheet of plywood mattress bedding and more. Everything I looked for as far as needs said that this one should work out just fine. I will know more once I do the build.

The hinges are truly nice and beefy with a decently good amount of heft to them. They open and close smoothly and are absolutely blemish free. I've no reason to think they wouldn't hold some substantial weight. Now the included hardware (screws) are a tad on the wimpy side really. They give you a lot of them but that doesn't make up for the size of them.

Talk about Heavy hinges. Each one is almost 12 ounces or 335 grams. These seem well made, smooth opening and closing. The finish looks good and well covered. And has the perfect squeek, like grandmas screen door used to make. haha But seriously, I expect these will hold up well in the elements. They're holding 2 3ft wide X 7ft tall barn doors just fine with no issues.Peace

These hinges live up to their name, they are certainly heavy duty.I’ve used two on an insulated box made of OSB that covers our generator (for sound control). Previously we’d been pivoting the box but it didn’t always align over the generator correctly & would shut off (CO safety).We’ve hinged the cover with 2 of these hinges and not we don’t have that problem anymore because everything stays in place. I want to emphasize how heavy this box is! (it’s really ugly, I’ll add a picture later when we build a new box).These hinges are performing very well on an application they probably weren’t designed for.
