These hinges are great for heavy duty jobs. My husband used them on a very large heavy gate door and they worked perfectly. They have a nice thick backing plate for welding. Great for you diy. Highly recommend.

Perfect for my project. Putting a fold down ramp on the end of my car hauler, these work perfectly.Plenty of metal to weld to even after cutting a weld channel.Pre-installed grease zerks is a nice touch.Overall, happy!

I ordered this set of weld on hinges to allow me to repair a utility trailer. The hinges are solid in hand and fit nice together. They allow you to repair or fabricate a new flip up ramp for a trailer or can be used in other projects such as a dump truck rear gate door or whatever you may dream up. You get a pair of hinges, so if you have 2 ramps on the back of your trailer, you will need to order 2 packages of 2, or 4 total. This makes a great option for repairs and upgrades and saves you trying to manufacture your own hinges that would likely be lesser quality anyways.

They were smaller and lighter then look in picture and yes weld wasn’t very big but overall they worked fine so far. I would recommend go to the bigger size
