So let me preface by saying I was a restaurant server for 10 years prior to starting my career in dental hygiene. I've always had a bum right shoulder from carrying heavy trays and dishes. I'm fairly new to the dental field but when I graduated and started at a couple practices my shoulder didn't give me too much trouble. I started at a new practice that had older chairs and in my first week I felt pain in my shoulder DAILY unlike anything I'd ever felt. It was shooting nerve pain that would start mid-day and by the last patient I could barely lift my arm. The pain would subside at night after I rested my arm but it was really really scary. I was afraid I wouldn't be cut out for my career... I started brainstorming about what could possibly be different about this office that my old offices had. Finally , I decided it was because the chairs were too low and tilted kind of back instead of forward. Because I'm only 5'2, I was too far from my patients and I was overcompensating by hunching out and forward. I went out on a limb and bought this chair. AMAZING the difference! I decided to wait a couple weeks of use before I wrote a review. I do not go home with throbbing nerve pain anymore. Maybe just some achiness if I have a long day full of extreme cases but not nearly the extent of pain I had before. I can feel my posture is so much better and my back is in it's natural position on this saddle chair, giving me more support and my legs angled downward to allow easy movement and closer proximity to the patients so I'm not reaching as much. I'd pay double the amount! It's just as good quality as the really expensive chairs from dental suppliers. Can't recommend it enough for petite dental professionals!

I insisted on finding a saddle chair with back support... The back support is almost non-existent. I'm 5ft 6in. The back does not go up high enough to support the curve in my back but rather rests right on my upper buttocks. It also does not lean forward enough to support a straight spine... probably because it's stuck on my buttocks. The back support height is just aweful. I find myself trying to lean back to find any kind of back support. If your looking for back support with this chair, it's just not worth it in my opinion. Pros, the saddle itself is great and the vertical height is sufficient!

The chair doesn't lower to the point that I needed, but I decided to ignore it. However, the seat is very hard. Once put together it is not a problem to disassemble. But rather than go through the hassle of reboxing, I decided to keep it in the hopes that I may eventually not find it painful. I have to switch out of the chair frequently. Sometimes, it hurts to stand after use. It is not a pain in my muscle, but rather my bones. I am of average health. I only purchased it for it ergonomics, and I did that because I've had to be seated at my desk for long periods of time lately. If you need it at just the right height, make sure you read the specs. It works better for a standing desk or counter height surface.

I read reviews on several chairs before buying this one. It's exactly what I wanted. As a quilter I wanted something that I could use for those long days at my Long Arm machine to ease back strain. I eventually took the chair to my office. It's wonderful. Many of my co-workers have a sit-to-stand desk but that doesn't appeal to me. This chair is the perfect answer to core strength, proper hip alignment, and back support. As a matter of fact, I have to keep an eye on the chair or it gets borrowed by my co-workers. They love it too. I love that it has a compact footprint and is easy to roll away if/when I'm not using it. Perfect for office or pleasure projects at home.

I’ve have had this chair a little over a year and I absolutely love it. I use it at my sewing /craft desk. I’m really not a fan of sitting, but this chair is just amazing. My back and hips feel great while sitting and it comfortably forces me to sit in a healthy posture position. It does take a little getting used too. I recommend this chair to everyone and the people who bought it have no complaints.I spent a lot of time reading about other saddle chairs & other reviews on Amazon before my purchase. I chose this specific chair over others on Amazon because of the tiltable seat. Depending on what I’m doing I tilt it accordingly. At first I thought my tilt was broke, but it’s actually just kind of hard to tilt back. The wheels go smooth as I roll from one section of my craft room to the other. The size of the seat and the back are perfect for my 5’6 150lb female body. My craft tables are counter height and this one goes high enough to be at that height but would also go low enough for a nail tech to do pedicures. Wheels, upholstery, and hydraulics are perfect over a year later. (If you have kitties, watch their claws on the seat)The only disadvantage to this chair is you can only get it in black.All my reviews are like 1 sentence but I need to preach how AMAZING this chair is and I highly recommend it. Get it , you won’t be disappointed!

I was worried about quality of the product, however I was very impressed how great the quality of the chair is. The material of the seat is soft and the wide seat is very comfortable. LOVE tilt feature and back feature. I have been using the chair for a week now and have had no issues. Ive sat in other saddle chairs and felt immediate pain and felt the saddle soreness. I would highly recommend this chair to other hygienist who are looking for a quality chair and not spending $700-900. Our office liked this chair so much we ordered another for another hygienist. Plus, it is very easy to put together and came with very helpful directions.

I am so impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this chair. Its really well made. I really wanted it to work. I do sit up so much better and it's good for my back but I'm a smallish woman - 5ft 4" with narrow hips and the seat is too wide for my body. It's uncomfortable for my hips. I will be selling it local as I don't want to pay for return shipping.
