I am a big, tall, fat guy, 6'0 and maybe 260 lbs. I spend several hours a day at my desk, and I need a chair that can swivel to let me access drawers and files behind me, to my right and to my left, and a printer that sits on a cabinet to my left. In the last many years I have had at least five or six chairs. The sturdy wooden 'teacher's chairs' that I started with were too high to reach over, and after a few months of twisting my weight in the chair, the supporting struts would fall out, and the bolted joints would weaken and the chairs fell apart. ........I then bought (for maybe $500) a 'bariatric desk chair' that was rated for 400 lbs. But it was so huge and cumbersome that it didn't fully swivel in my work area and its size and weight were a handicap. I next bought an attractive and pricy smaller swivel desk chair, but it still had a high back that got in my way, and it was still too bulky to turn 360* in my work area..... When I purchased this BENCH PRO DELUXE POLYURETHANE CHAIR that I now happily sit in, I was thinking of it as just a temporary solution until I found the right conventional desk chair. But I now plan to keep this chair forever, and I congratulate myself every day that I bought it for 1/2 or even 1/3 the price of other chairs I was looking at. Here is why: #1 It is stronger, sturdier and better constructed than any of the other chairs I tried. #2. Even though the seat is solid polyurethane, and not covered or padded, it is actually more comfortable than any of the padded chairs I previously own. #3 the back support 'cushion' is lower than the backs of the other chairs. It provides perfect lower back support abd allows me to reach over it to get into drawers or files behind me. #4 The footprint of the entire chair is smaller than that of any of the previous chairs, so I can swivel around in a complete circle to accomplish tasks in front of, beside, or behind me. I know this was meant to be a shop chair. But the hight adjusts to the exact level I meed to work at my desk, and it suits my needs perfectly. In several months of use, nothing on the chair has come close to bending or breaking or scratching or malfunctioning in any way. This is a keeper.

Threw away a cheap "workshop stool" that was terrible. Wobbly and the feet levelers would never be level enough not to rock. This seemed good for a workbench as it had no cloth or materials that could rip and it rolled which I was looking forward to. Super easy to assemble, nice tall height adjustment since I made my workbench standing height and comfortable enough. No cushion so it is what it is but the pros are worth it. I splashed some paint on it and trick was to wait til it dried and it flaked right off. Very happy with this over my old stool and though it was a little pricey it will definitely hold up for a long time.

First came much faster than expected thats great ! its very good quality i had a similar chair at my last job this one is as good or better quality. I am using this for a diferent reason than most have some back problems that are made worse by sitting in chairs that are not the right height and have me sitting with poor posture leaning back for example. Then there is standing from a seated postion with this chair i can drop my feet down to floor that makes a huge differance for me! this is built like Tank its going to last ! Its Perfect

I'm very pleased with this chair, which I'm using with my electronics assembly and repair workbench. It was shipped quickly by the manufacturer and arrived about a week before the Amazon estimate. It was packaged in a heavy duty box that perfectly protected the contents. Setup was very easy -- no tools required and took 10 minutes, at most. The chair itself is very heavy duty and looks like it will last well beyond the 10 year unconditional warranty period. I thought about spending more on the version that has lever adjustments for all of the settings, but the knobs are fine for the seat back distance and seat back height, since I am the only user and will rarely, if ever, adjust those. I was also concerned that I would want to order the glides that can replace the casters, since I'm using it on a smooth concrete floor, but now that I have it, the casters are preferable, because it makes the chair easier to move around when I'm already seated. I can't vouch for the comfort yet, but it seems good enough without the drawbacks that softer surfaces (like vinyl) would have durability-wise.

I bought this chair to accompany a standing height work table that I built. The chair was shipped and arrived quickly, and it was easy to assemble. Other reviews stated that the included assembly instructions were uninformative. I completely agree - the instructions are useless but assembling the chair is cake - it's complete common sense. The padding, or cushion, of the chair seat is sufficient and comfortable and the shape of the seat is fine too. The back comes up high enough for me and about as high as I expected (about the middle of my back). I'm about 6 feet tall and weight about 310 pounds and the chair holds me just fine and feels stable. The reason for the 4-stars is that the seat just isn't deep enough for its height, which is adjustable from normal desk height to standing desk height. When I'm sitting in it at the tall position, which is how I always use it because of the height of my work table, I feel the need to scoot back in the seat far enough to cover my butt and upper legs to the knee but I can't get back far enough on account of the back of the seat. Other than that, it's fine - especially for the price.

I purchased this chair for my home office workbench. The seat and back are made of a dense foam, which would be good for easy cleaning. The chair is well built and was easy to assemble. The issue I have with the chair is comfort. The seat is shaped so that if your feet are on the floor and not on the foot rest the seat shape cuts off the circulation in your legs.

Wow, this is a Great Chair. It sure is heavy but with a 10 year warranty & 450 lbs capacity; that means it is well built. From arrival to completed assembly was about 5 minutes. Most of that was moving the box!It seems counterintuitive that the seat which feels like hard foam rubber would be so comfortable but it is large and contoured & the back & footring are adjustable & it wheels easily. This chair is so Great; I won't be buying any other brands for my Electronics Workshop, my Art Studio or my Garage Workshop. (I give this review freely without consideration or coercion by anyone) It's a Great Chair that they've obviously put a lot of effort into & I appreciate that :)

These are very easy to put together, they are quite comfortable, and it is an excellent price for a lab stool. The castors are great and they roll very smoothly, we have purchased 8 now and are very happy with them.
