WORKING CONDITION
- The start open temperature can be adjusted from 16℃ to 25℃( 60.8℉ to 77℉).(Adjust:Rotate the cylinder clockwise to lower the open temperature or anticlockwise to increase open temperature.)
- When the temperature reaches 91.4℉ (33℃) or above, the window will be fully opened

STORAGE & MAINTENANCE
- All moving parts need to be lubricated after installation. Occasional lubricate is recommended.
- Please take off the cylinder from the opener when the window is not to be opened such as during winter time, to avoid any accident opening due to warm up climate.
- Lubricate and check the piston rod, make sure it can work smoothly if there is long time no work.
- The vent opener should be stored at a cool and dry place.

These are pretty solid and have some strength to open the vent for most greenhouses. These make it easier so you dont have to watch out for temp changes and close later in the day in case you forget. These will need to be lubricated. It hasnt gotten warm enough for these to operate where we are but they installed easily and are strong enough for our vents.

No more guessing about the day's temps, & should we open vents before leaving out for the day. Sometimes wrong guesses resulted in cooked plants!Recommended

I initially ordered this unit for use in my small greenhouse; however, the building was destroyed earlier this week by 80-90 mile per hour high winds prior to the fires. So, I’ll be saving this pack of vent openers for a new greenhouse that should (hopefully) be up and running within the next couple of months.These units are comparable to the ones that I bought many years ago - the aluminum construction is (was) a match for the frame of my building and I’m sure they’ll fit well. Although there are heavier-duty openers available, they are too heavy for the type of greenhouse I prefer. As each of these are rated for 30 pounds, they should be more than adequate for my needs.I thought assembly would be straight forward, but, once I began the task, I had to stop to consult some videos. It would have been helpful if the manual had included an actual photo of the clutch tee and cylinder union. Once I figured it out, however, the rest went quickly. Although I’ve disassembled the openers for now, it’ll be easy to re-assemble them once the new greenhouse is in place.Although I appreciate the fact that they’re environmentally friendly (since they don’t rely on power), my favorite feature is that they function automatically. I can’t always be relied on to remember to manually open and close the vents once the weather turns warmer, and I certainly don’t do it when the temperature is optimal. So, this particular product not only saves time and labor, it reduces the stress on my plants.At $55 for a 2 pack, the openers are priced reasonably, so I would not hesitate to purchase more if needed.

This opener was installed on our new little greenhouse. It works exactly as described and is good value for the cost. It’s been in the greenhouse for 4 months now and has worked nicely. It’s been so warm here that this has been essential to prevent the greenhouse overheating and it’s been in use long enough.
