This was a gift for a new dear friend. Tried to send the single package option but it kept being a moving target in regards to delivery, so cancelled then ordered this package, delivered the next day to the absolute delight of the new friend.

This two-pack delivers excellent paper quality for drawing or pastels. The weighted paper stays intact with the pressure of pencils against it. The drawing pads are just the right size for taking along. You can tear the sheets out or leave them attached to the pad. They deliver bright white paper that shows depth and layering without the need to use straight white pencils or pastels. These would easily make two gifts that would be appreciated by great artists and beginners, alike! The two-fur price was impressively below what I normal pay for one similar, single drawing pad. This paper is a must for professional looking drawings.

It comes in multiple colors, with each piece easily teared off with no rips. The paper has a rough tooth and can hold many layers of pastel. It also works well with charcoal.

I am impressed with the quality and colours of this paper. No, it is not pastelmat ($$$), however, for those of us who are «just-for-the-fun-of-it» fairly good artists, it is more than adequate. Although it is about the same thickness as regular sketching paper, it responds very well to numerous layers of pastel and it does not buckle. The colours of the paper are light and there are no dark grays, browns and blacks. Will purchase again.

Good quality paper. I was expecting more of a colour range for papers. Too many white, off-white not enough darker colours. Otherwise happy with it. Good value.

I think there is a need for a blue-black. Have some difficulty getting the deep blues.
