I love this tool. I have used other brake spreaders before but they have always seemed awkward or needlessly complicated. This is by far the easiest brake spreader tool that I have ever used. The hand pump just makes the whole process so much faster. No more cranking on bolts to open and close the spreaders. Just pump it up and then release the lock. Love it!

I’m quite disappointed with this tool. The build feels cheap and flimsy making it difficult to use effectively. It also doesn’t fit properly on my brake calipers, bringing me more frustration than help. Overall, it was a waste of money and sadly I can’t recommend it but it is possible you have better luck than I did.

These are great for holding brake pads apart. Keeps the caliper from drifting and the straight push keeps the piston from binding like using pliers. Make sure you get a set of caliper hangers so you don't tear up the hose from letting them hang. Looks just like the pic

This is a review for 24300 Speedy Brake Disc Pad Caliper Spreader Piston Reset Tool, Single Piston Brake Caliper Compressors Compatible with Most Vehicle & Trucks.There are a few odd ball vehicles that you won’t be able to use these on, but most will. I generally just use a C-clamp as it works just as well but being able to just squeeze is simpler.This tool seems to be made well, and everything feels solid during the compression of the piston. That said, these just make it too easy to potentially go to fast and force things too quickly. Be sure to go slowly.

This is a high quality and heavy duty break piston tool.It helps push the caliper piston in when changing the brakes.This helps not risk damaging the piston.A must have tool if you work on your own brakes.Very well made tool at a good price.

I tested this out on a 1999 Ford F-150 and a 2013 Toyota Tacoma. Here is my review:Pros:- Good quality materials. Feels sturdy and not cheap.- Easy to use- ErgonomicNeutral:- No instructions, but as said above, operation is self-explanatory.Side Note:- This compressor is ideal for single-piston calipers. If using on dual piston calipers, when depressing one, the other will pop out unless done carefully. A metal plate or piece of wood between the tool and the calipers can aid in this.

The compression tool is easy to utilize and great value for the price. Construction is durable and functionality is practical. I have one caliper however could work with dual if you are skilled.
