Bought 6 panels to replace the original Fafco 4 x 12 panels that came with my house. I stuck with Fafco because I wanted a direct replacement without the hassle of retrofitting some other brand. Well, that wasn’t the case, bought the exact same size, 4x12, and of course the new panels are several inches longer which caused the first panel connected to the existing hard lines to be wavy, the remainder laid down flat as they should as the couplings all provided enough give to stretch out a little. The width is also off by at least 4-5 inches from my originals which resulted in me having to buy about 4 ft of 2” ABS piping to cut down and create spacers since I can’t move around the brackets that secure the panels to my roof. In doing so I also had to buy 8 additional fittings which totaled an extra $80 dollars from my local hardware store.Aside from that, everything went together as it should with no leaks. I used pool lube on all of the connections to ensure a watertight seal. Overall I am extremely happy with the purchase and would have given the product 5 stars but for the company altering the panel sizes which created an extra cost and level of complexity to the install.

This panel is 3 inches narrower then supposed 4 foot (48 inches) width!?!?!?

Absolutely fu Fafco. Not only are these panels low quality as described below but they are no longer as wide as the previous ones I ordered of the exact same size and model number. And it seems you’re out of business now? No customer support. I'd go with another brand. Not only have these more than doubled in price over the last year, they're poor quality. I've purchased 4 over the last two years and 3 have leaked.Update ordered one more for one that leaked just out of warranty. So that’s 4 out of 5 that have leaked.

I was replacing a few damagedsolar panels on existing pool system. I would highly recommend FAFCO Solar panels to anyone that is doing a replacement or a new system. They're easy to Install, reasonably priced and arrived on time.

They aren’t the same size as our older ones, about 4” longer and wider, making it more difficult to install.

Solar is the only source of heat we have for our 25000 gallon in ground pool. Highly recommend these panels to anyone contemplating using solar to heat your pool.
