It worked perfectly to melt the small backyard pond. You can't leave it unless you don't csre how warm it gets. The little electrc thermometer was s nice bonus.

This is a great product to have around. Hot water, reasonably fast, where you otherwise couldn't have it (or would only have it by extremely laborious means). It should be handled with care, and it'll blow a 10 amp fuse. There's not much more to know👍

I initially ordered this to drop in my pool, but after reading the instructions I decided to use it in a 5 gallon bucket. It heats the bucket fast, and I can pour the bucket into the pool and begin again, as an attempt to warm the pool slightly. It may take a long time, but it seems to help with the water temperature so the kids are willing to swim. It’s a low cost and is effective at heating water , so it’s worth the price in my opinion.

I read and read and read on these and they were all disappointing. So I figured if I am going to be disappointed let me do so for less. I paid $15.99 plus tax at time of purchase.Started with a 5 gal bucket with about 4 gallons in it. When I got the unit I thought it was shorter than pictures but if this were any longer it would stick above 4ish gallons of water in the bucket, so perfectly fully submerged, check.Beginning temp 69.5F out of the tap.15 minutes later 117F15 more minutes later 145F so in 30 mins this achieved 145 degrees which is hotter than I need. My plan is to use this to keep a bucket of water hot for washing autos, RVs etc so I think I can start a bucket and run it 20ish minutes then drop this in a new bucket of fresh water, go wash with the hot bucket 20-25 mins and rotate until done having hot water for the duration of the job(s).My theory worked. I was prepared to be disappointed for less but instead I am IMPRESSED for less. This exceeded my expectations. Operation hot water bucket is herby deemed a success!
