Used it as a crankcase heater for a commercial cooler in my shop. It gets close to 40f at times and compressor was starting to slug on start up. Not now

The Chevy dealer said I they were no options and no need for a preheater for my 2018 Colorado. Well she cranks longer, whines, and the transmission chatters for the 1st 1-2 minutes when it is below 10°. The 2"x5" is the max size that will fit on the engine pan. I rigged one to the engine and one to the transmission and ran both cords together. I plugged them both into the same timer set to come on 45 minutes before I leave for work. Presto, no more whining or chattering. Adhesion is good, but I did clean and slightly sanded the pans. They do get hot l, so don't plug them in without being attached to something or you will have issues.I'm going to order more.

At the recommendation of a fleet mechanic I put this on my older truck. Having recently replaced the timing components it’s good piece of mind knowing the oil will stay warm and keep the parts lubricant even in the extreme cold. FYI I installed this in single digit temps and had no issues adhering to the oil pan after cleaning with break cleaner.

I bought this small heating pad to stick it to my Parts washer in the garage. Its kinda small and I wish I had gotten a larger one BUT....it does the job if you give it time. My washer holds 5 gallons of cleaning solvent and this pad gets hot quickly, it takes at least an hour before the solvent gets decently warmer. I havent heated it for any longer but I suspect it would really get it hot given enough time... Supposedly the pad will heat to 190 degrees F, I certainly do not want my solvent to get that hot. Yes, I recommend it but be wise about it's use.

This product works great, better then excpected actually. Advertised as a 50w pad it actually uses a steady 115w. Just as good as more expensive version, keeps 5qts of oil in my truck at about 75F in 20 degree weather!

Horrible. Second time using it the thing overheated after plugging it in for 15 mins and it melted, started to smoke and almost caught my shop on fire. I didn’t notice it until after my shop started getting smelly and hazy from the smoke it produced. Cheap garbage and dangerous. Don’t buy this. Buy a legit one from BriskHeat or something.
