After a lot of research to find a good value gun cabinet, I settled on the Riflewell Rifle Gun Cabinet. I found numerous positive and informative reviews on Amazon as well as reputable sites. I have had the cabinet for about a month and recently mounted it to a wall in my home. I am very pleased with my choice.

Finding myself in need of a lockable space for a rifle I keep at home, I came across this one. After about (2) weeks at home, I find it EXACTLY suits my needs. It arrived well packaged and unblemished.It has a very small outside dimension footprint, being 10" W x 9" D x 52" H, so it takes up very little floor space in my small closet. More importantly, the inside, usable dimensions change somewhat to 9.5"w x 6.5"d x 44" (floor to under the removable shelf). The depth is the most noticeable difference, and this is due to the thickness of the door when closed, where the mechanicals of the locking mechanism are.My findings are these...My personal objective of storing my standard 16" AR carbine is met just fine. With the rifle stored sideways, as pictured, there is room to keep a magazine inserted, but not wide enough to also have optics on it, apart from factory irons as are on mine. Were your rifle to have attached optics, no problem, but the magazine will need to be stored uninserted into the lower.. There would also be room for one, MAYBE two more conventional long guns such as a tactical shotgun and possibly a bolt action. But yes, three is pushing the limits of space. Keep in mind that if needed, the removable shelf that is included can be removed and set aside, giving you the full height of 51.75"" were you to require the space for longer barrels.The locking mechanism is much along the style of other more expensive safes that have the keypad and rolling ring around the lock to retract the bolts to open the door. It has worked flawlessly for me to date too. It's easy to open, and fast. There are also the other 2 ways of entry, the fingerprint and the key (Full disclosure here is I HAVE set up the fingerprint because I think it's cool, and it works fine, but I've used the keypad exclusively these past couple weeks. as for the key, it's the no brainer failsafe and stored elsewhere.This is a safe that is designed to, as my dad liked to say,'' keep the honest people out..." Nothing elaborate, but function over form here. I bought this to give peace of mind when the grandkids visit, as they are of the curious age now. This is by no means a true "security" safe that could take hours to breach. If a bad guy wants the contents... well... he's a bad guy... he's going to GET the contents. Speaking of this scenario, included are provisions to secure the safe to the wall, making it more difficult to simply pick it up and carry it away. I have yet to do this, but when I do, I will be making some 1/4" X 6" X 6" washers to more fully secure it to the wall.So all in all, this is, by my personal assessment, an exceptional value for the money. For a few bucks I feel there is the safety for my family that I was looking for from a product that operates as it should.

I bought one to confirm that this would suffice for my very long guns (not all of which are here at present) and confirmed that removing the top shelf is necessary for the 10- & 12-ga shotguns; and the 100 & 130-year old bolt guns. Quality is adequate for intended purpose, metal gauge is 'better than puny, so I bought a second one for my shorter rifles; and I put a 4 inch revolver (snug fit) and a midsize pistol with magazines on the top shelf. Moon clips in the top door rack and ammo boxes in the lower door rack.The padded interior makes this a good investment; the pistol/revolver pockets in the door are intended for a small CCW (S&W J-frame; Sig P929), but nothing of substance. Those smaller guns will be in a dresser lock box or a pocket holster, so these holders are wasted for this use, IMO.The units ship assembled and the packaging is appropriately substantial. Second box arrived with damage, but the cabinet was secure and unmarred. Now if FedUp would teach their drivers that the UP arrow means 'This end up,' the three loose parts inside might not bounce around so much. The shelf on the first unit was bent, likely due to those parts impacting it when they tossed the box into my driveway. I removed it anyway, so not an issue.Oh, the LED light is 'anemic at best.' Don't base your purchase decision on the inclusion of a light. My cabinets are in the back of a long closet that has a 4 ft double tube fixture overhead. And if it's dark when I need my snubby, read above re: alternate storage.

1. Your guns are for sure not safe from theif ( to easy to move even if mounted ) 2.Every thing it comes with is cheap and very flimsy material3. Only small handguns ( very small ) ( cant fit compact glocks )4. The battery and lock source are trash ( tells you its mess up if you charge itOther then that For personal documents or just so no one can quick access then cool

this safe is exactly as described. Great for the price!I would have given it 5 stars, but the owner's manual has such small text that you can't really make out what it says, due to this I still have not figured out how to set up the keypad. Luckily the keys function just fine.the inside of the safe is much more spacious than i had expected. You will definitely want to secure this safe with the included hardware as i can easily lift and move it with almost no effort (and i am 5'4" 200lb female). you will also need 4AA batteries for the keypad.the description says some assembly required but my unit came fully assembled, which was a nice surprise. all and all it was a great purchase that i would make again. this safe is a great low-cost option that i am very happy with.10/10 would recommend

I’ve had this safe now for two weeks and I can say this digital safe is great. Great storage for 2-3 long guns and pistols. I love the two pistol bags and how the gun rack is adjustable. The safe is easy to open and functions well. Led light and buttons glow which is cool. Pre-drilled holes to secure to wall/floor and hardware is included which is a plus. You also can put in more than one passcode if you’d like. I would recommend this safe to anyone looking to secure their firearms and also not break the bank as this safe also has a great price tag!

For all practical purposes, this is useless, don't waste your time. One long gun with a scope is too much for this safe.
