This safe is perfect to keep your things out of reach from those who aren't supposed to have access to certain things. It doesn't weigh too much, so you can move it yourself and put it where it needs to be, and it opens really easily, for quick access. There's plenty of space inside for anything you might put into it!

So a few things about this product that may or may not sway your opinion:Pretty solid overall. Probably weighs 50ish lbs. Setup was easy but BE PREPARED TO MOUNT THIS TO THE WALL. The door is considerably heavier than the rest of the safe and forces it to fall forward unless it's mounted.Additionally, and I wish I had thought to ask this question earlier, but the keypad for your code to open it does NOT light up. This can be a big deal if you need to get to your guns in the middle of the night and don't have the key handy.Otherwise it's as advertised. Fits my guns fine, has a light that shines into the bottom (not top) when opened. If youre expecting a big, fancy gun locker than this may not be for you but for the $199.00 price tag, I think it's worth the buy.

I gifted this gun safe to my brother for his housewarming, and it’s been an absolute hit! The functionality is top-notch, with an easy-to-use electronic keypad and a backup key for added convenience. Setting it up was straightforward, and once mounted, it feels rock-solid.The size and fit were perfect for his space, and it has ample storage capacity to hold his rifles, pistols, and ammo. The interior is thoughtfully designed with carpeting, which protects his firearms and keeps everything organized. Despite its compact footprint, the safe offers plenty of room while maintaining a sleek profile that fits well in his home. The build quality really impressed both of us. It’s sturdy and well-made, giving a sense of security that you want in a safe. Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase—functional, durable, and easy to use. Whether for yourself or as a gift, it’s definitely worth every penny!!

I’ve bought several safes for my home, office, and garage. This one is one of my favorites. I love that it has the lower drawer where I can secure documents and valuables away from any of the firearms. It’s it heavy duty enough to keep the firearms safe, but also light enough to be moved when necessary. It can be bolted to the floor and/or wall. It’s super easy to use and the digital lock works very well. I’m able to fit several firearms as well as ammunition and accessories inside.

Box looked in perfect condition but when I finally took it out to install it had a massive dent in the top

Overall not a bad security cabinet, but the reset button is easily accessible when the safe is locked with a thin piece of metal or wire. Some safes provide a cap over the button. Not the case here. Opened up the internal door compartment and move the button to one of the hook punch outs on the back of the door. Door will not close properly on my AR-15s that have optics mounted. Definitely need to install top anchor screws to wall. Not a great safe but a good security cabinet for the price, make sure your firearms match the internal measurements

I agree with most of the reviews here about the value and functionality of this product. However, I would note the following:1) The sticker on the door says not to use rechargeable batteries, but I didn't adhere to this initially. Rechargeable batteries are slightly thicker than conventional disposables, which made it extremely difficult to close the battery door. When I DID manage to close the battery door, the keypad acted seemingly normally, but wouldn't release the lock, and the interior light didn't turn on. I tried two sets of rechargeables, both the green house-brand rechargeables and the more premium black ones, which I figured would be close enough in terms of voltage, but the keypad beeped and otherwise didn't really do anything. Contrary to the instructions, I didn't see green and red LEDs indicating low battery. Thinking it was defective, I was ready to start the return process, when I figured "what the hay" and found some regular batteries to try. Once installed, the electronic lock worked flawlessly. Just be warned, you'll have to use disposable batteries in it, NOT RECHARGEABLES.2) On a related note, the interior LED light is serviceable, but not the brightest thing ever.3) The instruction manual is obviously not written by a native English speaker. They included some cheap drywall anchors, that, upon inspection, work like giant pop rivets, no diagrams or instructions on how to use them. They really should have included more detailed installation instructions, but I figured it out based on prior experience with drywall anchors that expand behind the wall.4) Be sure to measure your long guns before getting it, I didn't think of it but I have a birding shotgun that required removal of the barrel to fit. My bad on that. Turning long guns 90 degrees also helps with fitting things with optics. Given that, I'd say 3 long guns, maybe 5 if you don't keep anything bolted on 'em (or you don't care if the barrels are in the foam holders).Other than that, it works great and is a good value for what you're getting. In case it's unclear, it arrives fully assembled, which makes for a BIG box on the doorstep. It's clumsy and pretty heavy, although I was able to muscle it in (probably at the expense of my back). Two should be able to move it around without much fuss, I would guess it's maybe around 60 lbs (which probably also gives you an idea of the stoutness of construction, this is just sheet steel). The box is packed with foam and corrugated cardboard, as well as metal corner pieces to prevent deformation, which could account for the listing's 70+ lbs. It was weirdly well packaged for something made of steel but I'm definitely not complaining. The top box only opens with a key, not the electronic controls. The interior of both compartments is lined in a very thin felt, but it feels pleasant to the touch. 4 small screws hold the interior of the door together, and is easily accessible if for some reason you wanted to get into the locking mechanism or electronic components, which is cool. Also of note, the PCB that controls things uses plastic plug-in connectors instead of just soldering everything together, which I also appreciated. Looking at the locking components, even if the unlocking solenoid completely fails the key mech is super simple and should function without issue.Standing on the floor, opening the main large door makes the whole thing tip forward; you'll definitely want to attach it to the wall.Overall, I'm quite pleased and likely would buy it again. I would probably use my own drywall anchors next time, though...
