Love the meter but I was shipped a single unit when I ordered and paid for the double unit. I keep plants at my workplace and at home so I really was looking forward to having one in each location.

I brought 1 of these a couple years ago, and I'm very satisfied with the look, accuracy of the reading, size is very good. The quality of the meter is durable even though it's warranty is only 1 year. I'm not sure about what they mean about the heat level???

Neither of these worked. I placed them in various potted plants with different moisture levels and they measured dry every time, even though some of the soils were moist.

Both sensors have been placed in different garden beds and both constantly read low moisture.Even during a week of rain directly on the device and little sun.Cannot recommend.You get what you pay for.

I have a variety of fruit shrubs and trees that are sensitive to over watering. Being out of town a lot, I rely on friends watering my plants. Was hoping these moisture meters would aid in successful watering. The gauges did not register the moisture in any of my plants. I overwatered my plants two days in a row to see if the meter read anything. The soil is sopping and the planters are draining excess water, but the meter never made it to the moist category. Played with depth of the sensor, location and different soil types. Always indicated dry soil.

I compared their reading to a reliable moisture meter I have had for a few years. The showed 3-5 marks dryer than my usual one, even when the soil was thoroughly moist from a fresh watering. Not confident in their accuracy at all, I returned them.
