This looked promising as it was one of the only seven in one devices that I could find. Most are four in one or three in one, but there are 7 to 8 features that they each vary having a combination of measuring: pH, temp, moisture, nutrients, humidity, EC, etc. . So I searched for a while to find this guy with high hopes. I don’t know if this thing is accurate really, but the screen is defective. The numbers show up partially and I can’t actually tell what the numbers are telling me. Also the pH goes up to eight and down to one. Average pH is seven meaning anything that is Even a little basic over the pH of eight isn’t read? I know that some soils are basic so this is odd to me.

Its trash. Don't waste your money. Not accurate. Non functional. No ease of use at all. Its a waste of money. Cheap plastic and never did work.

UPDATE: Seller was very kind and offered a full refund for this since Ph reading was inaccurate at 2.5 wherever it was placed and condensation in the window.

Works great, results are pretty accurate when using pH and nutrient settings. Just make sure soil is damp before testing. Tester is solid and not easily breakable. Great price

The soil tester accurately measures values in the soil. I know exactly when to water and what minerals the soil needs to grow healthy plants.

I used this for a quick check on my lawn at various spots to see how is the moisture, light, acidity , nutrients levels in my lawn soil. It was easy to just insert the rod deep inside and then move the switch to the reading required and it instantly provided the reading on the scale. I am assuming it was accurate as it seemed to look so at least with the moisture and light readings. Acidic nature also tells that the soils isn’t acidic else the grass and plants wouldn’t have prospered and be green. So all in a good and simple device to check home soil levels.

I am in the midst of creating a first time garden in my yard. I kept reading about how this plant needs this particular Ph level, that plant is a heavy eater and needs a rich soil, and so forth. I was delighted to see this meter because it answers all of the questions I had. The instructions are very helpful in using the meter properly. I'm very happy with the meter.

Using this on houseplants… it seems to be very accurate in showing the soil moisture.
