These things are amazing! They're the perfect size to stick into a lot of different spots and they are thick and squishy so they won't scratch anything you put it against. I wish I would have picked some of these up sooner. I've just been using random old moving blankets to shield work, and while most the time it's fine I have had them light on fire more than a couple times.

Pretty decent blankets, they got the job done held the heat back. There are no frills here but there are not really any needed. It works and that is good enough.

As described and work fine. Not sure if it is washable, might need to replace after a while when it get dirty or messy. Other than that it is good and great value for the 2 packs. Recommended

A good option for keeping sparks off you. I bought this basically just to throw over myself when I'm laying under a car welding. Having sparks dropping all over my body while I'm trying to jerry-rig some exhaust back together is not the most comfortable experience in the world, and this makes it a lot more bearable. It's super SUPER soft and feels like a regular felt blanket. Thicker than I would have expected, too. Keep in mind these aren't 100% impervious to flame or heat, but they're better than nothing and I'd rather have this than a regular blanket. Also useful if you're trying to protect a surface from spatter, though I'm not sure I'd put all of my trust in this blanket alone. It's just a great tool for any welder's arsenal, and the price is right. Definitely recommended.

Great size! Big enough to cover my little table I weld on.Perfect for welding, soldering, or putting put fires. Just about whatever you want to use it for.Weirdly soft!! Feels like it could be used as a blanket lol, I don't know if it a good idea to tho lol.Withstood my blowtorch burning blue with 0 damage I could see......Definitely would recommend this!

It's hard to go wrong with a welding blanket. This will be handy for soldering as it's not terribly thick, and though I haven't tried to start it on fire, its the right consistency to not catch fire. This does not have a reflective backing, and it won't hold in place like the foil-backed variety, but it should do the job.

Nice welding blanket, way better than the old fiberglass style. This is not going to scratch paint or glass but still holds up well against any sparks that get thrown at it. Nice 40" x 40" size that's big enough to cover anything you need but small enough that it doesn't drag on the ground or fall off any areas.

The blanket was the perfect size for my smoker and was able to raise the internal temperature an additional 50-55F versus not insulated. Good value and has more than one use.
