Reinforced copper holes

These are so much better than other thin, cheap welding blankets that they shouldn't even be compared. I'm hanging two of these in my shop when I'm welding and grinding to protect other equipment and avoid starting.any fires. You can handle these all day log and they stay together, no ripping or failing in jot spit areas. I hang these uo when needed and take them down to gold up and put away. So far the welds and heavy grinding from a few feet away have barely discolored the surface. These are heavy, we'll made blankets and the only type I'll buy in the future. The number of cheap ones I've thrown away because they fell apart would have paid for a dozen of these over the years. Keep the silicone side towards the work and they will last uears.

Let me start by saying I did not use this blanket in the manner it was intended, and the star rating is a clear reflection of that. This review is solely for anyone thinking of purchasing this for use on their smoker. I did not use this blanket for welding or any other kind of hot work, so I cannot attest to the durability in that regards.For retaining heat in your barrel this product works great! Withstands the high temp at the bottom of the barrel no problem, and even didn't get too stained by the smoke. The reason for the lower rating is after using this blanket for only an 8 hour smoke there was clear fiberglass wear on the backside of this blanket and it was leaving fiberglass pieces all over the barrel of the smoker. Not something you really want around food, but again, not what this blanket was made for. I was just hoping for a cheaper solution to an actual smoker blanket and from what I read in some other reviews I thought this would work for me as well.Having said all that, with the low cost of this product I may just buy a second one and stitch them together so both sides are the smooth grey material leaving the fiberglass trapped in the middle with no way to wear down or flake off on the smoker. Just need to ensure the grey material will not easily melt.

Acheté pour protégé l'environnement/pièce quand les travaux de soudure ne peuvent pas se faire en atelier.J'ai testé en soudant au dessus de la couverture et les projections ont noirci la couverture mais ne l'ont pas troué.Il y a des oeillet si on veut la pendre.Pour moi elle fait le job de protection.Elle fait 1,2m sur 1,8m pour environ 50 euros. Le prix est ok pour ce produit.

So far this is pretty good.I just got it today and it is far better than all of the other ones I looked at. I spent quite a bit of time reading all of the other reviews. For a little bit more money I got this one that is coated.The only thing I would change is having the options to have it coated on both sides.So far it looks really nice the brass rings all look very well and reinforced.I am using it for my pellet grill for the winter. My intentions are to put the silicon side down on the grill and then add a couple of moving blankets and top it with a wool blanket for winter use when smoking a brisket.I doubt that I will have any problems with it.I paid $36.00 Nov 2022 for 4x4 size.Other cheap non coated are selling for around 20 dollars for about the same size or a bit bigger. 4x4 works really well for the pellet grill with enough on each side and enough over hang.
