Dual Sensors Guard against Danger
Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm features a photoelectric sensor that detects the smoke most commonly produced by smoldering fires, providing sensitive detection while minimizing false alarms from cooking smoke or shower steam. The advanced electrochemical CO sensor detects carbon monoxide leaks from multiple sources, such as faulty fuel-burning appliances, blocked chimneys, and generators running inside or too close to homes.
Easy to install:
- Turn the alarm body counterclockwise and take off the bracket.
- Hold the bracket in the installation position as specified in the Recommended Locations,mark installation holes of the bracket with pencil.
- Drill the two marked installation holes with a 3/16 inch(5mm)drill bit.Tap the two plastic gromments into holes with hammer.
- Mount the bracket to the ceiling by inserting and tightening the supplied screws into plastic grommets.
- Fix the alarm on the bracket and turn the alarm body clockwise , until fully inserted on the bracket.

Very good product, good quality. It was very easy to install. The be size is pretty much the same as any other. The sound is pretty good, and it’s working as it should, you get good value for your money, plus you get 2.

I bought these for a rental house I have in another state to keep my tenant safe. We stayed after she moved out while doing repairs over Christmas. I had to call and apologize for them! They may work good, (hopefully I'll never know!) but they have the most horrible and I mean awful horrible, vivid LED light that flashes all the time. At night you can't even sleep with it. It's like having the paparazzi in your room snapping pictures. 😕. Who's bad idea was that?

I have had these installed for about a week now. That is less than .002 percent of their life. No alarms, no CO readings,, etc so it's too early to comment on how well they work. J will say that they could have thought out the hanging arrangement better.
