The product seems good enough - it's a food grade bucket I will use for making sauerkraut and pickles. However, the shipping charge on this bucket is over twice it's purchase price. The reason: it comes from China and shipping is due regardless of the amount of your total purchase, unless of course you have Prime. Otherwise, the product appears to be well made, easy to clean and should serve it's purpose. Just be aware you may pay significantly more for this product than it's published purchase price due to the shipping charge.

if you need a plain bucket with no lid these are good buckets, but because they are sold with lids they work with lids on them

I ordered a bucket to replace my old one from them. I love their buckets they are well-made, food-safe, and work great for my home-based bakery storage needs. They need to pick a better shipping company. I paid $7.99 in shipping costs when I ordered it back on December 13th I figured it would only take a week at most since it is coming from Tickfaw, LA.Nope, it's 10 days out now. I wish I could have changed the shipping option, I would have picked FedEx, USP, heck I would have even gone with DHL. Anyone but the USPS. I would have paid extra for other shipping. They are the worst for delivery times. I rarely get any of my shipments on time with them.Every piece of mail in the state must go through their Harrisburg hub, which is notorious for being called the black hole of PA. When it gets your mail, it's a guessing game on when you will get your mail and other deliveries if at all. The order stated 23rd - 24th. At this point, I'm not holding my breath on getting it before Christmas. Wish me luck.

in the Houston area everything in the garage or on the porch easily becomes moist with the heavy humidity always present and so the larger sack of bird seed fits in the pail after filling up the outdoor bird feeders so that I don't have to throw away the remainder

I needed a small lightweight bucket as a chicken feeder. The size is perfect. The lid is why I’m giving it just 4 stars. The lid doesn’t fit at all. I’ll have to buy a different one but the bucket was perfect for my hens.
