These buckets do not smell like plastic and the lids screw on easily

Nice sturdy buckets. Despite loading them up quite heavy, I have yet to break a handle. And the screw-on lids are sturdy enough to make these very stackable.

Great buckets and lids are easy to operate but will screw on tightly. Thickness and colors are nice.

The tops were a bit of work to put on initially, but once on the screw on lid part works great.

Very hard to get the lid on. Had to get a 200# man to sit on it to get rubber seal on. These are very sturdy, seal tight. I’m keeping rice and beans in them. I think I might order two more for flour and sugar.

Buckets are fine. Lid collar is NOT air tight and spin s, lifts off easi!y. Had to super glue collar on...no instruct o. How to make snug without glue.

I cannot express how much I love these buckets. They are easily assembled, the lid twists off for easy access. I am using one bucket to store the grains, pasta and oatmeal I have an over abundance of, and the other for other backup food that come in bags. I have limited space but these fit perfect in the tiny pantry and I created an additional shelf by just adding an old bookcase shelf on the top of them. I am sure to buy two more for other types of storage I need access to occasionally.

The House Naturals Food Grade 5 Gallon container, proudly made in the USA, falls short in its primary function. Regrettably, it fails to seal out humidity effectively. I used it to store pool sodium bicarbonate, and to my dismay, the container ended up retaining moisture. A disappointing experience overall, as the product did not live up to its expected performance.
