These buckets are great for storing bulk dry goods!! The lids were not easy to put on but following the instructions we were able to put them on without a mallet, just took a good amount of force. The buckets are sturdy and fit well under our pantry shelves. The measurements in the description were accurate.

They are perfect storage for my 3 white powders..Flour, powdered sugar and domino granulated sugar. I added bay leaves inside and on top to keep bugs away. They are sturdy, close tightly. I love them

Yes the lid rings are difficult to install but once that’s accomplished the buckets are wonderful.

I like the different colors. My thinking regarding the color choices was so I could distinguish the food storage from your standard white buckets. Also thought I might want to distinguish shorter term from longer term storage by the color. The lids come in two parts. You have to hammer the ring with a rubber mallet. It takes quite a bit of effort and at first I didn't think I was going to be able to get it on. But once it's on, it is there to stay!
