I wasn't sold on the idea of grab bars in our new shower but I have to say they are very helpful. They are easy to install and lock down tightly to the wall. If you need to feel more secure in the tub or shower these are well worth the money.

The package I received had been opened and loosely resealed.Suction cups slip off the wall within minutes of being placed according to directions. Of note, another brand of grab bars had stayed in place on this same tub wall for months, coming off only when released intentionally.Item will be returned for refund.

I moved into this new apartment that has a really deep tub & it’s difficult to get in and out of. These bars are perfect for making me feel more secure getting in and out. The suction is truly amazing. And so easy to install. have recommended them to 2 friends so far.

As advertised, the suction on the grab bars are to keep you steady in the shower and for this purpose they work great. We have them, 2, in a smooth fiberglass shower, and they hold firmly. However, they will loose their suction with temperature changes in the house, so it is important to make sure the green suction indicators are showing. I tried to attach them to a smooth painted finish with no success. But , overall a good value and worth buying and using. We recommend this item.

They're easy to install and look great. They work great. I had some problems after the first couple of months getting them to hold to the wall. The suction gets dried out and they fall off. Easy fix though.After a year they have lost all suction. Still I feel a year is a decent timeframe for this product. I'm deciding if I will reorder the same product

I ordered these for my elderly parents who were struggling with a step in shower. They arrived very quickly and were very easy to install. The first one we tried had such great suction that you couldn't pull that thing off of the shower wall. The second one would fall off of the wall in about 2 hours. We are exchanging them for two more. Hopefully the two new ones work as good as the first one we installed. If they do I will change my review to 5 stars. The first one has been attached for over a week and is still holding tight.After asking to return the defective one they were sent another pair before the return so they could be safe. That is great customer service. They were also sent some instructions to help with the defective one and it now works as it should. My parents are very pleased with these grab bars. They to hold the shower wall so tight that they try to pull them off to check them and cannot remove them. I would think these instructions would be sent with the bars to avoid this. I hope they will in the future. Thanks for your customer service.

I bought these for 2 reasons. 1. they have indicators to show whether stable or not 2. Mostly good reviews.They work as stated. I use them in the shower that has 12x24" inch porcelain tile. They grip well at first, but after hours, especially on one of them, the indicator goes from green to red. While in green they work very well and I like them.I think the suction gripping doesn't last because even though the tile is non-porous, it is not as smooth as glass and may not be entirely "flat". This part is very hard to tell, but by rubbing hands across the tile, you can feel very tiny indents in the tile. Also, unlike glass, there are very tiny ripples on the surface of the tile.That I think allows air to enter after hours of being on the tile. They have never fallen off...but I don have to "re-install" them every day before showering.I did buy another suction grab bar from a different brand and have that in the shower as well. From reviews, it gets higher marks, but in my shower, it does not perform any better than these. Thus, I think the tile surface is the key.For all those that complain about the bars not sticking...review in detail what your surface is that you're putting them on. If you want lasting suction gripping, I would say that you probably need a surface similar to glass. If it's not, then I think you'll need to re-apply the bars every day.

I bought this grab bar to use in our shower. We have 18” x 18” ceramic tile with a very slight texture (I realize the description says not to use it on textured tile) The texture is so slight that I thought I would try it. When we first received it I noticed that one suction cup pulled a very tight suction but the other one wasn’t quite as strong but did hold well on our tile. For safety’s sake, we always reattached the bar and checked it every time we used it. I bought it in June 2020 and it worked well for about a month when my wife fell and broke her ankle (not related to the grab bar). She was in the hospital and rehab center for 6 weeks and I did not use the bar. Once she came home and was able to walk again (another 4 weeks) we tried to use the bar and the suction cup that had the weak suction will no longer stick to the tile we’ll enough to be safe. It has only been 5 months since I bought it and I don’t know if the rubber has hardened or what. There are no tears or cracks in the suction cup. The whole mechanism is made of plastic and it is obvious that the weak side is not exerting the same “pull” on the cup as the other end. (If they both worked like the strong side, it would be a great device. As it stands now, we can’t use it..
