Finally installed and they work great for my elderly Dad who is having increased difficulty getting around. They are firmly installed, not flimsy at all. The non-slip grip gives him more confidence taking a shower on his own. I would definitely buy these again.

We installed these in the renovated apartments, and they have been a great addition for safety and support. The 16-inch stainless steel bars are incredibly sturdy and provide a strong, secure grip, thanks to the anti-slip textured surface. Installation was straightforward with all the necessary hardware included, and the bars are solidly mounted to the wall with no wobble or give. They blend nicely with the bathroom decor and have given us peace of mind knowing there's extra support where it's needed most. I highly recommend these grab bars for anyone looking to enhance bathroom safety.

I like that the rubber is fitted to your fingers, it's no flat. The rubber makes it easy to hold onto when your hands are wet. I installed these for my mom, and she's really happy with them! She's older (90's), and loves taking a bath. These help her get out of the tub without assistance.I also installed a different grab bar, which was white, and it occurred to me you have need greater hand strength to use them when you're hands are wet.I didn't use the supplied hardware for installation (nice that it's there) because I have a fiberglass insert. Instead, I went to the hardware store, and got some metal butterfly bolts. Now I can remove them if I so desire. That wouldn't work out well as there'd be a hold in the fiberglass. I imagine these would be much easier to install if you were drilling into wood, or sheetrock. These are holding up well. I put one on the wall, and one on the area where the shower curtain goes, allowing for a two-handed exit.

Put one on each side of door frame so my mom can go up a step with her cane and have something to hang onto. Very very happy with these grab bars. In our case, they are screwed into wood, which makes them very stable. The handles are very comfortable. We got the 12 inch size.

Very nice grab bars. Easy to install and good finished product. Plus the grab assisting rubber is extremely helpful to have a firm grip for my 90+ years old mother. I have it all over the house.

Recommend with these issues. Installing vertically on a tile wall it was very hard to keep it in position to mark the holes for drilling. In the end I drilled the upper most hole first, put the plastic insert in and then screwed it down. I taped the bottom to the tile in position so it couldn't move. I had two markers, a thin and a thicker one. Neither would fit in the holes far enough to mark the tile. I found a mechanical pencil and extended the lead a bit and was able to make the marks. Could not find the hole size on amazon, so I ordered a set of ceramic drill bits along with the grab bars. The directions call for a 6 mm bit. A 1/4" bit is just slightly larger than that. Seemed to work anyway. If I do the second one it would go much faster. In the end it looks good and is very solid and has made the tub much safer for the wife. She's been taking baths for ever, but recently, having gotten pneumonia and being somewhat weaker and getting on in years, she had a hard time standing up to get out. Much better now.
