I have a heavy swing door and needed a handle that you can only see from one side. I purchased about 13 different kinds of handle from barn door ones to appliance pulls. None of those were able to work. This ended up being perfect option and looks great. It doesn’t even look a grab bar. Very easy to install and great price too.

Better quality than I expected. Very modern as well. Great product does not look like a grab bar. Just looks like a really nice towel bar...I would put one in even if you don't have any elderly people at home.

We bought the 12-in and 24-in grab bars for a walk-in tiled shower. Strong product, but these are my lessons learned.The mounting bracket has a bolt that can loosened to rotate bracket-holes. Don’t forget to retighten the bolt.1. Use a 1/4-in glass/tile bit to drill into the tile to check for the wall cavity.2. If there is a wall cavity, then enlarge the hole with a 1/2-in glass/tile bit. Use pull-toggles to mount the bracket. The toggle will have tabs to hold the toggle in place. Before inserting the toggle, trim these tabs slightly so the bracket cover can lay flat agaist the tile.3. If the 1/4-in revealed solid mounting material for mounting the bracket. Tip: Do not use screws that came with the product; instead get some hex-head stainless-steel screws. These are much easier and will not rust.4. Use a little silicon to seal the trim piece from water intrusion.

We installed two of these bars in our new shower. A 36" one is horizontal located 3 feet off the floor on the back wall of the shower. It is so nice to either lean against or to grab. Since this was a new shower, I had the plumber install 2" x 6" PT wood backing between the metal studs before the new wallboard and tile were installed. There is no way this bar can come loose. (but see below for recommendation if you don't have stud or other wood backing). The 18" bar was installed vertically about 4 feet off the floor and 6" inside the shower curb on the end wall opposite the shower head.This is a quality product both in looks and function. The finish coordinates perfectly with the other fixtures (Gatco and Hansgrohe) in our new shower. It has the looks and feel of quality. It represents excellent value. The 1-1/4" diameter looks much better than the bulky 1-1/2" diameter of other bars.If you have to mount this (or any other) grab bar into a tile wall without stud or other backing, I highly recommend using Snaptoggles by Toggler . They may cost slightly more than other fasteners (like the standard wing toggles) but they are "snap" to install. The two big benefits of Snaptoggles are (1) that you can mount and remove the fixture you are mounting without disturbing the fastener base and (2) only a 1/2" hole has to be drilling in the tile shower wall. For a shower, I highly recommend using stainless steel bolts. And put silicone sealant on the fastener and fixture back before mounting.
