I was skeptical about purchasing a grab bar that would not be secured thru the sides or walls of the shower tub. I was surprised to find it seems to be very secure and easy to install. Eventually I will purchase another more fall protection.

Applied to a glass block wall where screw-in bars were impossible. Following the directions carefully, I was impressed with how strong the bond is. No glue, just suction. Obviously not as secure as stud-mounted, but very difficult to remove even if you're trying.

I read some reviews that said it didn’t stick on the fiberglass and hold but I bought it anyway. It did not stay on one side the first time I tried it but moved it a bit and works wonderfully. I think the surface was uneven my first try. Anyway, this makes me feel safe from falling in the shower.

Good grab bar large easy to assemble

At first I felt like this shower grab bar was a good safety investment. I followed the instructions for installation, thoroughly cleaned the area where I would install it and initially it felt very solid on the wall. After about 6 months, I heard a loud noise in the bathroom one night, and in the morning I discovered that the grab bar had fallen completely off the shower wall and was laying on the shower floor. This grab was never used during the time it was installed and water from the shower never touched the grab bar. I tried reinstalling it and it would not stay on the wall for even 24 hours. Bottom line is that I would not purchase this product; it gives you a false sense of security initially and then in a few months it becomes worthless. I don't know if other brands of similar products have the same problem, but stay away from this one!

When 91 year old mother in law was with us needed to help her get in and out of bath tub. There are no hand holds on fiberglass tub and shower combo. Wife and I really like the grab bar. Essential safety feature. Stays in place.

I really like this product and it’s very sturdy and safe to use for the handle bar in the shower. At first I was scared to get into the shower because I was worried it’s going to break loose and then I will fall , so I recommend this product to anyone who will be needing it for after their surgery or anyone else who needs it.
