These grab bars are very good. We installed them in an enlarged shower space, and they give me a feeling of security. Our installer used better bolts than the ones provided for extra safety.The texture is just perfect. We are pleased with the purchase. There are aesthetically prettier grab bars by Kohler, but I chose these because of the diameter. If you are slipping, you do not want a narrow bar to grab onto. These are the practical solution to prevent a slip and fall.

The multiple mounting holes in the flange make it easy to put 3 screws into a stud. This resulted in a good, solid mount.

Following back surgery I had installed two shorter Moen bars in my shower. The quality was excellent and I decided to use a similar bar to hold on to next to the steps at the house entrance. Moen had the longest I could find, at 48" length and is of much better quality and strength than bars sold for the outdoors which are not always made of stainless steel and not as sturdy. I highly recommend it. It is best installed by a qualified professional, like a plumber, using masonry screws.

This comes with six long screws that were easily all placed in the studs. The plate is welded to the bar and has many slots and holes to make placement of the screws perfect. The grip is not slippery and easily to grab hold of. This is a very well-made product and it feels like I could put my whole weight and more on it.

I bought 2 for my new walk-in shower. They look great and very sturdy. My contractor installed them and made sure there was a 2x4 framing behind shower wall positions I chose.

Works perfectly to provide added stability in the shower. We installed on a diagonal so that the shower bar would suit users of different heights and also to facilitate use whether seated or standing. I especially like the user friendly non-slip surface. It is both functional and attractive.

I pondered about getting a grab bar for the bath tub. I'm a 67 year old gal, wanting to soak in a bubble bath..but my pride was in the way....like bars are for the old, fragile & frail. Not for me, of course! Decided to bite the bullet because the more I thought about bubble baths, the more I thought: SAFETY FIRST! Hence, the purchase. My son & grandson installed it for me a few months ago. Since then, I've been taking regular bubble baths without worrying if I'm going to slip or slide or fall.A well worth purchase!

By design it's hard for a grab rail to go wrong. It's fine and strong and looks good. The shipping of the grab bar (Amazon's boxing) is a different story. I imagine the person who put the grab bar in the shipping box thought – "Well this is very solid steel and should survive any trials during shipping, so I'll just place the item loose in the box without any cushioning or bubble wrap." But, it is clear to me that shipping boxes do get placed down hard at times during transit, and this was obviously the story with this shipment. One of he clean looking caps, at one end of the grab bar was dented badly. The caps are made from a much thinner gauge steel. They need not be as sturdy as the grab bar itself since they are cosmetic and are intended to cover up the screw hardware that holds the bar to the wall. I needed to put the bar into service right away because my wife was coming home in a wheelchair and I needed to prepare the bathroom – so I didn't complain or demand a replacement to be shipped. Instead I spent a good while with pliers and hammer to reshape the cap so that it would fit again and do its job covering the screws. It's not beautiful. The ding is mostly hidden by the fact that bath towels hang on the grab bar most of the time but the ding is there. The rest of the bar and the cap at the other end looks just fine.
