I have two of these in the shower and one on each side of the toilet just in case I ever need some support. Meanwhile, they serve as towel bars.

My husband installed these on an exterior wall next to a sloped concrete walkway by our pool. This pathway can be very slippery if wet. So, these safety bars give our family and guests an extra protection from potential falls. An extra bit of insurance for a small price.

We installed these in an elderly family member's shower and she says that they are sturdy and help to prevent falls. It was easy to install and took less than an hour. I would highly recommend these for people who are struggling with balance or who are at risk of falling.

Once installed properly, it feels very secure and looks nice. But the little plastic anchors they send have side knobs and gaps so it collapses when trying to put it through ceramic tile. You either drill the hole bigger, and have loose anchors, or go out and buy better anchors that slide in the right sized hole.
