I used this type of insulation on hot water pipes in my unfinished basement. It is easy to install and I actually ordered more for the remaining pipes that I have. The only reason that I did not give it 5 out of 5 stars is that two of the foam items were not cut and I had to do that myself - probably an automated machine adjustment on their side.

I bought these thinking this was a great idea and I THOUGHT they would wrap my pipes outside. Wrong, not even close, even 2 together would not have worked. I live in the South, where they do not think of freezes, and the pool noodle trick saved me in 2021 except for my sprinkler system, which I had a fix for this time. This year, the pool noodles were not as big, so I saw these and tried them. If you have slender pipes, they are fantastic. I do not, mine are exposed, thicker with wrap on them, but not enough for a legitimate 25 or below for 12+hr freeze. I will say the adhesive was fantastic on the pipe I did try to use one on, but unless it is for thinner pipe, it will not work. Bummer for me.

Like any other pipe insulation for air handlers, it just gets dirty and rots, in my case in a restaurant kitchen.After cleaning all the copper lines, I wrapped them with these. Very good adhesive, very good foil membrane. Worked great, pipes do sweat at all. Can't beat the price either

Replaced decomposing insulation on the AC units for our 1962 mid-century modern. Cooling improvement was like night and day. I did the installation all myself with just a pair of scissors and a box knife.Highly recommend.

I have bad back but these went on so fast in the cramped space I had nonissues. Working with small segments and around elbows and joints was really easy. And the tape it comes with is great. Highly recommend.

Awesome. I think this was the best option of all I found shopping around. Easy to install and great results and due to the wrapping it will last much longer being protected from UV rays.
