Labeled 3/4 inch but actually doesn’t enclose my 3/4 inch copper pipe completely. Would fit 1/2 pipe better. Also, not the thickest foam compared to other brands we have used.

I bought the 1 inch insulation for my 1 inch PEX lines. First of all, this insulation doesn't even fit all the way around the pipe like it's supposed to. It leaves about a quarter inch or so exposed which obviously greatly reduces its ability to insulate. Also, the insulation is not nearly as thick as it should be. It's just thin garbage, which has to be held together with tape, and it's half as thick as insulation you'd find in big box stores. By comparison, similar insulation I bought from Home Depot fit perfectly around the same PEX pipe and is way thicker than this garbage. I absolutely would not purchase this again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting to get the job done right the first time.

Easy to cut and install over pvc water lines. None of the pipes froze during our super rare Florida snow/ice storm so it did the trick.

I sent these to my sister in Iowa as her basement pipes kept freezing. Seems that they are doing the job well and keeping her water running.

Comes in manageable lengths for my rv pipes. I secured mine with zip ties to keep the dogs from removing them. It’s been in the high teens here in Alabama and my pipes haven’t frozen yet.

We bought these to go over all of our 3/4 pipes this winter. We live in Missouri so it’s been in the negatives at night and we haven’t had one pipe bust! Highly recommend for really cold climates if you don’t want your water lines to bust. Worth the money and time to put them on. Took about 10 minutes to put on since they already have a slit in the foam for easy installation.

This worked so perfectly and fit so well I'll definitely recommend this product. I winterized all my pipes including the cast iron lines just in case. And I did by myself, just me and a ladder. I'll recommend electrical tape as it wrapped the pipes so tightly. My whole home is winterized now. It's super easy to cut and fits 1/2 inch pipes absolutely perfect. Buy this one, I'll promise it's the one you need for pvc 1/2 inch lines. I'd definitely buy this again just for backup.

I have a forced hot water furnace and the supply line hangs just below a finished ceiling in a basement room we're doing over. It was previously by a foam insulation that was filthy and disintegrating. There wasn't much to pick from for white foam insulation, but this one seemed to fit the diameter of the pipe and have reasonable thickness. Because I was relying too heavily on the pictures, I expected something with thicker walls, but the product does meet the description. For my needs, the profile was perfect and modifications were limited to shaping at corners and branch circuits. The foam wrapped the pipe securely and did not need clamping taping or tying to keep the shape. I recommend it.
