About this item

  • Qty: 1. Maintains water pressure between 10-20 psi (15 psi nominal), which is great for drip tape, soaker hose systems, and any application where low pressure is desirable. It may also be used with drip systems.
  • Low flow rate to save water. Approximately 2.3 GPM (gallons per minute) at 10 psi and 7.0 GPM at free flow. Maximum Inlet Pressure: 125 psi. May be left under constant pressure. Note: As with most drip system pressure regulators, the outlet pressure might slowly build up above 20 psi if the outlet is completely shut.
  • Inlet Size: ¾" FHT (female hose thread). Outlet Size: ¾" MHT (male hose thread). Connects to a standard hose bib or garden hose in USA and Canada.
  • It may be connected to an automated timer, backflow preventer, or filter, if desired. The regulator body is made of solid lead-free brass which contains less than 0.25% lead. Note: Some garden hoses are made with aluminum fittings. To avoid galvanic corrosion, do not connect this regulator to aluminum fittings for prolonged period of time.
  • Upgrade your plastic regulator to this durable, heavy duty lead-free brass regulator. It is able to withstand a higher inlet pressure compared to a typical plastic regulator and is impervious to sunlight.

This does a great job at cutting the pressure down to run my drip irrigation system. Made from a good quality brass. The treads are cut perfectly allow easy installation. With my pressure gauge the pressure is right at 15 psi.

Robust and hefty pressure regulator valve that drops your pressure 15 psi to save excess pressure on your hoses. Not to be confused with a whole house regulator that caps your pressure at a certain amount, this device seems to drop your pressure 15 psi no matter your pressure, so good to save hoses or other devices that can’t take excess pressure. Sturdy construction of all brass except for the plastic regulator inside. Easy grip collar makes it easy to hand tighten. No leaks from mine, but it’s being used under normal house pressure. A big upgrade over the similarly priced plastic units at the home stores.

I got this to use on an automatic pool filler that I was having issues with. The float didn't have enough force to overcome the household water pressure (58 psi) to shut off the water completely. I installed this regulator and the filler was able to fully close as intended.I did test the regulator when I received it. It dropped the water pressure to exactly 15 psi. Works as advertised. Very impressed, especially at this price point for a brass unit.

This feels so much nicer than the many plastic pressure regulators on the market. I don't have a pressure gauge handy to test, but it certainly does reduce the flow rate from more than 12gpm down to about 8gpm. The only downside is that it weeps a little around the swivel - pressure regulators don't need them since the hose attached will have its own swivel.

This product was attached to a faucet that produces 80 psi. Way too much for a 1/2" poly drip line, which was under constant pressure and rated for 60 psi. Without this pressure reducer, the poly line blew out in about a week. Installed this product and, and after a month, the line is holding up. The pressure reducer is all brass, sturdy and appears to be of high quality. I recommend it.

I received this regulator to help control the pressure on my drip irrigation system, and it’s made a huge difference. Before, I was constantly dealing with the worry of leaks and bursts, especially during peak watering times. Now, this little regulator keeps things steady, letting my system run smoothly without any hitches. The setup was straightforward, and it brought peace of mind that my system was getting much less pressure from the hose. What really impresses me is how reliable it’s been over the last couple of months. With no clogs or leaks, I can just set my timer and let it work without needing to constantly check for issues. Even when I tested it, the pressure stayed in a safe range between 12 and 18 psi, just where I need it. That stability is great because it keeps my hoses and fittings from wearing out too fast. This regulator has genuinely been a game-changer for me. I don’t have to worry about sudden surges that might damage my system, which gives me one less thing to think about during my busy day. If you’re running a low-pressure drip setup and need something reliable, this one does the job beautifully.

Nice price for a brass regulator. It not only feels better than plastic =) but gives extra peace of mind for its durability. No leaking and works as advertised. My wife saw this recommendation on a YT gardening channel, so we jumped on it. Not literally (but I'm sure it would be fine if we did!).Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

I got this to reduce the pressure for a drip irrigation system and it does a marvelous job of it. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to bring down their water pressure into the 15 - 20 psi range (some of the plastic units cannot do it with regularity).
