The Type R632A is an Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed regulator designed for Two-Stage LP-Gas systems. The unit is designed to reduce the tank pressure through an integral two-stage system to 11 inches w.c. / 27.4 mbar. The first-stage screened drip-lip vent is oriented downward and the second-stage vent is oriented over the outlet as standard.

First one arrived with rough damaged thread. Needed lots of thread sealant and three tries to get it to not leak. Then gauged at 13.5 (supposed to be factory set at 11 with a range of 9-13 wc) Set it to eleven. WC dropped 2-3 during demand. Returned/exchanged.Second One: threads were perfect. Regulator came set slightly above 12. During demand drops only 1/2 to 1. Company should aim for +/- .5 or better on factory setting.I’ll leave it at 4 (should probably be 3 since we’re dealing with gas here and one wants confidence in such devices. There were others that are cheaper. Paid more hoping for a basic good regulator), but 4 star for now but will be keeping an eye on the thing. Hopefully it doesn’t fail in 6-12 months….sigh. Amazon…all products in general these days. I didn’t bother with local (Ferguson) cuz they’re not exactly user friendly. So the easy (though time consuming) exchange process lands it at 4 with hope of getting 4+5 years out of it. My old one was 20 or so years old and yes made in China so go China’s not always bad. This one is from Mexico. I don’t it matters much where things are made anymore. What matters is the design/engineering/materials and management/oversight/quality control.Anyway….

Replaced the 30-year-old "Stinky" regulator.Simple Simon.No adjustment required.Now I have the perfect pressure and a brand-new regulator.At an amazing price from Amazon.It took all of 5 minutes with some wrenches.Note: Your needs may be different.

The pilot flame on our wall heaters would not stay lit. Replaced our regulator with this one and solved the problem.

Straight forward replacement of prior regulator. Home LP flow has improved since installation.Pricing constantly shifting on these regulators... from one day to the next, best value was 1/4" NPT version, then the FPOL version. Got lucky and saved almost $40 by going NPT.Hardest part was finding proper replacement Hogtail.

Came as described, good price, fast shipping. Used for propane hookup to house. Gas Oven and stove , and gas dryer.Dont forget , if you are going to convert your house to LP (liquid propane) from NG (Natural gas ) , then you will need to change the orifice on all the appliances. Most gas ranges come with the LP kit or can always be ordered online.
