This dial bore gauge is comparable to the Summit Racing dial bore gauge at a fraction of the cost. I have a Summit 2-6 inch dial bore gauge. I needed a gauge to measure rod bearings, which are in the 2 inch range, which was the lower range of the Summit gauge. I shopped for lower range gauges and found that they were predominantly priced in the $150+ range. I found this gauge on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It looks and measures identically to my Summit gauge. In fact, the anvils fit the Summit gauge. The only difference is that the body of the gauge is slightly smaller, which is exactly what I needed. The blow molded case is slightly smaller as well. It is a good quality gauge.
