Flute too shallow. Does not remove enough material. Bit overheats.

I am using this bit to cut hardwood on my CNC router, really impressed at how sharp it is and how clean it cuts. It's so sharp I actually got cut just handling it gently during a bit change, so maybe handle with gloves...Really happy, ordering more.

The downward spiral design makes a smooth cut, leaving very little chipping or tare out. I use these for delicate small jobs, and they work great. However, they are small and brittle from the hardening process, so be careful not to bump or bend the bits (they will break).

Used to make a template to route an odd shaped loudspeaker driver.I have used it a few times now for other circle cutting and seems to be holding up well only taking 3 to 4 mm cuts which seems to work well.
