This is the best version of a remote battery disconnect I’ve ever seen and is very well designed for simple installation. This is a perfect solution for older vehicles that are easily stolen or for vehicles that are parked for long periods of time. With a remote key fob that stays with the key, there is no getting out opening the hood, connecting the battery and disconnecting the battery, very civilized!

So far so good with this lock out gadget. I’m using it primarily for theft deterrence and by golly it works! Installed on a mid 90’s Cherokee, it fits a bit tight like literally on top of the battery but doesn’t seem to interfere with the closing of the hood. For security, the price is right, super easy to install and the small slimline remote is perfect. The unit appears to be of solid build quality as well. Once the car is running, the remote has no effect. Sweet!
