I’m a home care nurse. I give a pair to any client I do wound care on. So appreciative to have their own pair of scissors. Plus cuts down on infection risk because they are specifically for one client!

These scissors are not very good with patients. I work in wound care and when I cut wraps or kerlix off, my patient’s tell me they can feel the tip scraping against their skin. Not recommended for cutting close to skin!

Have used Trauma scissors in the medical field for decades. Just a great thing to have in your tool box for cutting tough materials. When these first came out , the thing one could do with these as a demonstration was to cut a penny in half. This set may not be made to that tough a specification as my first use was to cut a paper accordion window shade down to window-width size. Probably 40 layers of paper at once. The hinge pin popped out and the scissors fell apart. Took it down to the work bench and hammered the hinge pin back in and flattened it a bit. Working fine now. Just don't expect too much strength/durability for a buck and a half apiece.
