These cut very easily and are the right size for cutting crafts, bandage material and even light plastic packages. The pointed blade is useful for getting into a tight spot without having the worry of the double pointed scissors doing damage wherever you carry them. Highly recommend!

I've been using surgical scissors in the kitchen for over 50 years. You can wash them thoroughly and/or sterilize them after each use without ever having to worry about rust because they are made to be sterilized. These solve the problem of dirty scissors from opening meat and poultry packages or unwashed produce cross-contaminating other foods. As soon as I use one, I can just toss it in the sink. A very inexpensive and practical solution. And I've been using this particular brand for several years now.
