I purchased these scissors to actually cut the hair knots in my cats hair. I was worried I’d cut her so these don’t have sharp edges at the end and work perfectly.Hope this was helpful!

My daughter keeps needing her wrist taped up during sports and it is a pain to get off the tape... or it was, until we got these scissors! I originally bought some from a large store nearby and they were junk - these are so much better! They get under the tape well and cut right through it.

Used to have a wonderful set of Lister scissors. (Stolen by TSA after 8 years of flying every couple of weeks.)I hoped these new scissors would be a similar replacement. No such luck. Not sharp enough to cut lightweight fabric, just paper. Steel not heavy enough to cut heavy duty fabric or any cardboard stonger than chip board for cereal. Scissors not strong enough nor sharp enough to even do a decent job of trimming fingernails. And, the "foot" is neither large enough, flat enough on underside, nor rounded enough on the top or sides to assure no accidental gouging.However, the standard offset length of the two blades do assure that the scissors are essentially safe to use. I think they would be safe to help a young child practice using scissors. And, they're inexpensive enough that I'd be willing to keep carrying in my purse when flying on a plane.

I bought these to have a mini set on my name badge. I am forever leaving my scissors out of my pocket or they disappear. They work perfectly for the little situations that take up your time. Trying to separate pill packets that won't tear no matter how many times you bend them. Bam! Mini scissors to the rescue. Trying to give a patch or med in a foil packet with no notch or perforation? Bam! Mini scissors to the rescue. And yes I do disinfect them frequently and the coating is holding up well. I've only had them a few weeks now and occasionally while waiting to pull meds my coworkers have borrowed them while they are pulling to help separate pill packets. Best purchase for my name badge so far.

The scissors will work. I guess the picture doesn't represent the product true to size, I was disappointed the the shaft between the finger holds to the actual cutting part is too short.
