This is exactly as described and pictured. It went perfectly with our remodeling of our staircase. Of course we went a step further and added lights underneath.

These came in short segments. Once assembled and aligned, they're fine. They seemed a little flimsy out of the box, but once installed, they work fine. Aesthetically, not much to look at, but compared to wooden rails, significantly cheaper. Good for minimalistic look or in places where looks don't matter, like basement stairs. Given the thin sheet metal of the tubes, I wonder how strong they really are to be considered "industrial", but the 440lb rating is its ability to support that weight being pulled on it after it's properly installed, which it should. The only thing I would have preferred is if the mounts could be rotated so that they could be better aligned with the wall studs and for better appearance regardless of the pitch of the stairs. These just look too utilitarian to me.

Looks good. Was a bit of stressful install with making it perfectly straight, comes in three parts so need at least two people to do it right.

My space between posts was under 3' and I thought by looking at the description it would be easy to adjust by separating and cutting part off, then slipping back together. Not possible, this handrail comes in one piece, one length. I was able to make it work, but my handrail angle doesn't match the stair angle. The railing is heavy duty and has a lot of support.

This product looks great, is high quality and was easy to install. It’s very sturdy installed in studs and the price was lower than the local companies could make one for. Highly recommendWe ordered 4 of these- 6,8,12 and 4 foot. All of them were well worth the money spent.
