Heavy duty DPDT, break before make, transfer switch. It has double break heavy duty contacts suitable for up to 600VAC power switching. The mechanism works smoothly and has a toggle action so that the contacts make and break quickly regardless of how slow or fast you turn the handle. The contacts are open so that they can be inspected easily. It's actually easier to determine the switch hookup from visual inspection than from the chart provided.It comes with all of the necessary mounting hardware, as well as a trimplate showing the switch positions.
