Thought this might work but its definitely not a rheostat. It is just three positions. Not low, med or high as you might think. Seems like bait and switch. It did not work for my application.RECOMMENDATION: I'm not sure I could make a recommendation one way or the other since it did not work for my application. I am neutral on this switch. The directions and advertisement lack a lot. It leads you to believe that it works like a rheostat when in fact it does not. Be sure you understand this before you buy.OVERALL RATING: 3 Stars. I gave it three stars indicating a neutral position. Not for or against. But the manufacturer needs to clarify in their ad that this has no rheostat properties. Its just three separate positions if you have that need.

I ordered this switch to swap out a bad one and it works great. It’s easy enough to install just pay attention when removing the old one so you know how to put the new one together. I like the value for this switch as I’ve seen them for much heigher in the stores. I would definitely buy this again in the future!
