These were a good inexpensive way to protect my new plants when our state hit record cold temperatures this winter. They were easy to put out and secure. If you're an avid gardener and don't want to spend a bundle on the cute ones in the garden books...these work just fine. I highly recommend them.

Plants get sunburnt as spring/summer comes - higher tinted/or cloudy plastic would be better - milk cartons worth keeping and using LOL

I purchased these as my seedlings were growing and the weather this spring was very erratic in the PNW. I had been covering with cloth when the temps dipped low but as my cold weather plants took off I didn’t want to cover them but still needed to protect my warmer temp plants. These were perfect to protect my tomato, pepper and bean seedlings. They have small holes around the edges so I used metal U spikes to keep them from blowing off in the wind. The hole in the top still allows air flow and some rain in but creates a little warm dome over the babies.Perfect for my needs.

I used mine this spring when flowers were coming up, a twofold use, to protect from frost and animals who like to bite of the tops of plants. These cones did protect my plants. I am glad I purchased the cones and can use them again.👍

These plant covers feel nice and thick, and is good quality. It is also flexible and easily pops back into shape if squished, as stated in listing. There is an opening at the top so the dome will be ventilated, and small holes at the bottom so you can insert landscape staples to hold down the covers if using outdoors. The negatives are that the shape makes it less flexible in how it could be used other than how they pictured it. The bottom is too wide, so I can't place them in 1 gallon size pots, and if I use them in slightly larger new plants I want to protect, the narrow diameter of the top squishes any plants that is slightly larger.
