The shade cloth was exactly what I needed to cover my succulents from cold weather but still allowing light & rain into the frame. I used clothespins to attach the cloth to the gram as it is a temporary solution. The length & width were perfect for my needs.

Great product - we had intense heat here in California, and our cucumbers, peppers, etc., were all on their death beds. Covering them with this shade cloth (the 30% reduction) during the hottest part of the day has made all the difference. Easy to cut, drape, and use, too - lightweight, but stays in place. Highly recommended!

I used this on the sunny side of my carport. Comes with enough mounting clips and It works fabulously! Carport is much cooler now and the sun's not beating on my car's paint. Quality is good and Nice price too!

The shade cloth is just what I needed to give my garden a perfect amount of shade at 30%. Very well priced. Arrived quickly, easy to install. Also adds texture, for a serene view off my deck. I will purchase again for other areas of my yard. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on its durability, but it’s so reasonably priced no problem to get another for next season. I have a fair amount of wind everyday and I’ve had it up for a week and no tearing. Great product!

As the number of sunny days over 100 (and 115) degrees continues to increase yearly in Phoenix (and the west), it has become important to protect newly planted fruit trees, newly planted bushes and even some long established bushes during our four summer months. TBD on vegetable gardens. However, you also want enough sun to reach the plant for growth. This 50% shade cloth is the correct answer. Shade cloth typically found on rolls at big box and landscape stores is 80% shade cloth intended for patios. These long lengths allow you to fabricate shade structures as needed -- typically using 1/2" PVC pipe, an assortment of PVC fittings. Also, there are plastic snap on clips that easily hold the 'cloth' to the PVC - typically up to 3 layers to design your structure. At worst, you can drape pieces directly on established bushes.I haven't had any problems with this cloth ripping even in the wind. Have so far used the same pieces for 3 seasons and likely more in the future. No signs of getting brittle.

The product itself is great, my only issue is I had to purchase more clips to have it properly installed in my greenhouse.

The clips worked well but the fabric made the greenhouse too dark and shrank in length in the sun.

I initially bought this shade to cover my cucumbers during the heat of the summer. It helped with the cucumbers, not completely but they were able to tolerate the sun a little better. I think the 50% would of been better. I then expanded the vegetable garden and needed a larger area to cover. This would have worked... to a degree and mostly it came down to me and I should of gone a different direction. This shade works overall, if you need to drape over a plant or plants (which I initially bought it for). I do not see it being something that can be hung up by poles or rope especially with the clips. I would be afraid of tearing the shade more than anything with the clips. At the end of the season, have this mess of a mesh that has not true sides that could come apart easy is a little frustrating. I might keep it but not sure.
