A good frost cloth choice. Found this frost cloth to be thinner than others. It is .74 oz so it is lighter than others on the market. It does work, but being in a more northern state where it can get a bit colder, I like the thicker ones better. This one might be a better choice for gardeners in the southern states.

This plant cover was pretty standard for the weight and size in the description, which is all I really want out of a product most days.I use this type of frost cover over hoops with hardened off seedlings in spring, when there may still be light frosts at night. It has the added benefit of keeping cabbage moths off the broccoli plants, too.

I really liked that this products offers flexibility on how to use it and doesn't have elastics for an exact size. You can cut to shape. Material is light, resistant, and breathable. Will be using to warm up the soil to get a head start on my garden this spring!!!!

I live in north Florida so our cold weather is very short lived but it does get cold here for a few days at a time. I like that light can travel through these because we’ll have 40 degrees one day and then 75 the next. The weather is always bouncing around so I can leave these on and trust my plants are still getting light. However, this doesn’t come with any type of fasteners so even though I thought I wrapped some plants really well, it’s lightweight enough to just blow away even with the slightest breeze. I feel better having these though, for when we do get the occasional cold.

I live in the low desert of Southern AZ, so our lows don't often go lower than mid-20s, and that's considered "extreme". So this plant blanket works well for our climate in protecting some of my frost sensitive garden plants. Where I live we can make use of a short season of growing, so this is when I plant things like brassica, garlic/onions, peas, various flowers. Sugar snap peas love the cooler weather here, but they do have a threshold, so I use this to cover them when I know we're in for a "cold snap". I still get a little bit of frost damage on the very tops/tips, but for the most part, this protects the bulk of my pea plants' bodies. I also use this to cover some of the more cold sensitive plants--bok choy, statice.Easy to cut to the size/length I need. Soft and malleable, without being so stiff it can't be manipulated around trellises. Lightweight so that when I don't need it, it's easy to fold up and store away. I clip them in place, where needed, with clothespins.
