Bought these to cover my Ixoras during a very unusual winter cold snap for the Deep South. Definitely does not protect for extended below freezing temps, as I lost both Ixoras.

Tough FabricI bought this to cover plants that don't do well below freezing. I had other freeze cloths, but they were not as tough as these. I really like them. I made a tent over my orange tree and 8.5 inches of snow later, it came through without any freeze damage. Can't say the same for other plants that didn't get covered. Gulf Shores hasn't experienced that for 150 years. I also purchased plant clips and they held through the wind and snow. This was a good purchase.

This one is slightly thicker than most of the others listed here. It held up with the landscaping staples better without ripping. I used it to freeze protect plants, and I can't really say how much difference it made, just that cutting this really big piece into specifically sized pieces for different flower beds in my yard was a lot easier than the tarps and old bedsheets I've used in the past.

I really liked the weight of these 1.5 oz/yd2 plant freeze covers. Very easy to manage, layout and stake without blowing everywhere. I think these will also be easy to fold and reuse. Worth the extra money. I also bought some 1.1 oz plant covers that were much cheaper but those are definitely one-use covers and will be thrown away after use. Impossible to re-fold the cheaper covers. We also used the stakes with plastic discs at the end. Game changer.

I bought this for my plants when the weather approaches freezing or below. So far hasn't been below freezing. The cover is really long and suitable for long stretches of plants or for cutting into smaller sizes. I have used it and kept on plants for several days because the fabric is sturdy but allows sunlight and rain to permeate. Very pleased with product.

This is a good size and easy to use. The clips to fasten the cloth around the plants are included. I have been able to protect my succulents from frost, and small plants. However, they do not hold up for the whole season's use. The sheets nearly disintegrate. Good I guess if you don't want to store them, bad if you want to use them more than once.
